Comments / Modifications:

Time to let the red beast go after 4.5 years of ownership. List of all the mods I can think of below. As you will all see it is extensively and expensively modified. Basically the vast majority of mods on it, I got the best I could find.

Never been drifted since being in Australia, only done one track day, and 2 drag days, rand a flat 14s at the strip, would be faster now with chip and R34 cooler. Track day was at Morgan Park, was catching an R32 golf under brakes, acceleration and cornering. Its quite quick.

I just drive the car to work and back, most of the kms are highway. Always serviced by myself, only used motol turbo lite, or 8100 oil. Done less than every 5000kms, any other servicing done by a professional.

Only ever been pulled over twice (other than booze buses) in the 4.5 years I have owned it. The car looks standard, you don’t attract unwanted notice. Yet people still ask what it is.

Engine:

RB20DET – its out of an R32, so its newer, different cams, and has a factory BOV, approx 20 000kms less than the car. 2nd 100k km service was done not long ago, all belts etc done.

Mods:

Rising rate fuel pressure regulator, with pressure gauge.

R34 side mount intercooler. This is completely hidden, and is installed in to the factory side mount pipes. So it looks standard. Much larger than standard and was a notable difference in performance once installed.

HKS EVC4 electronic boost controller.

Dr Drift chip. See attached dyno graph for how good the curve and AFRs are.

3inch exhaust, with cat and 2x mufflers. Sits at 84db at 4000rpm (see attached graph) which is the testing point, and well below the legal limit.

Externally:

Standard factory bumpers, front updated, with working corner lamps.

17” Stern wheels, custom colour. NEVER seen a set of these in this colour ever before.

Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres all round. 235/45/17s rear, 215/45/17s front. Good tread left, there is about $1100 worth of tyres there.

Slimline weather shields

Updated front and rear lights

Updated grill

All bumper strips removed

Autech side skirts

Factory optioned front lip (not installed, damaged)

Red paint (duhh)

Brand new windscreen.

Internally:

R33 front seats, better support etc than standard Cefiro items.

Aftermarket sports steering wheel

Up spec’ed interior, not the horrible tweed.

All interior small things, ie carpeted spare wheel cover, etc. All in fairly good nick.

ICE:

Brand new eclipse 7100 head deck. This is the bees knees deck, if it hasn’t got it you don’t need it, and half the stuff it does have you don’t need. Approx 3 years left of warranty on this

MB Quart front splits, with extensive sound deadening to front doors. See attached pictures.

JL 10” subwoofer.

2chan cadence amp

2chan bridged coustic amp

All quality wiring, all professionally installed.

No rear speakers, but standard rear speaker covers will be installed.

Full alarm and 3 point immobilizer.

Drive train:

RB25 gearbox, engineered with mod plate.

Jim Berry Race Clutch – Full monty clutch

3600 lb Nismo pressure plate, modified by Jim Berry to have softer pedal feel.

Single piece tail shaft custom made with gearbox conversion.

2way diff

New master and slave cyls

Braided clutch line

Redline gearbox oil

Suspension/brakes:

Sydney Kid edition – Custom Bilstein shock absorbers. These cost a LOT of money and time, just ask Gary. The front shocks are in the original Kei Office coilover casings, so these are fully height adjustable. Rears are in the Bilstein coilover casings, thus are also fully height adjustable. Has been all corner balanced. Handles like a cat on carpet.

SK modified Nolathan camber/caster tops.

Front adjustable castor arms.

30mm solid front sway bar

27mm solid rear sway bar

Front strut brace

Alloy rear pineapples

Hicas lock bar, and all lines removed

R32 brakes, and 5 stud conversion, all braided lines. Front calipers rebuilt. Motol RBF600 fluid. Master cyl rebuilt. DBA slotted front rotors, DBA standard rears. EBC Red stuff pads on the front, and the good Lucas pads on the rear (can’t remember exact name)

Extras :

All the stereo gear I have that isn’t in the car. Its not much but I don’t have a use for it.

Set of R32 wheels, with legal tyres.

Few spare interior bits, including a full set of the slim line weather shields.

Set of 450lb coilover springs.

Anything else that’s laying around car related that I don’t want.

Sorry for the long ad, but the car does mean a lot to me, and it is going to be hard to let it go. It’s just wasted on me as I never have the time to get it out to the track.

NO SWAPS AT ALL.

Images: Some pics still to come - dyno & exaust db graphs, plus some interior shots.

Thanks mate.

Starting to very seriously look at other cars now, would be nice if this was gone first to free up some of those funds.

So if your even remotly interested please feel free to contact me, and we should be able to work something out. Without going in to insulting offers.

Welllll

Now have road worthy cert.

Has 2 brand new dunlop sport maxx tyres on the rear ($500)

Brand new battery

And is getting the few small rather picky things the roadworthy guy picked up on fixed right now.

I now own a VW Jetta, and the ride in the Ceffy is pretty damn good compairing it to that, especially given the extent of mods to the Cef. So this is a well modified car that you can drive every day in comfort, and then come the weekend go ball tearing around your local track.
