  1. but rb20 for lyf
  2. 230kw with my current setup vs. a 170kw stock rb25. Even so, it will cost me $5k to drop in a stock rb25 setup as opposed to keeping my 230kw for $2k
  3. $2000 engine/loom + $1200 gearbox + $400 brakes + $600 engineering + $400 splitfires + $1500 turbo + $600 injectors + $500 nistune + $500 tune + $600 hoses/misc Not going to spend $8600 when I can get my car running for $2k and re-use my turbo/injectors/splits/nistune
  4. Engineering, front brakes, nistune, injectors, turbo & splitfires would need to be done as well... More cost effective to get the 20 singing.
  5. Haven't spent or lost anything yet, just my time pulling apart the engine. The rb25 may still be on the cards...
  6. That moment when your car mechanic says 40% leakdown test on cylinder 2 exhaust valve but your engine rebuilder says head is fine.... Never had any milky oil and headgasket looks fine.... What does this mean? Rings on cyl2?
  7. Kinda looks like spare parts

  9. Head is off! So much work to do now.
  10. Worst thing working for mining company was being controlled by the shareholder. The massive fluctuations was painful to daily operations.
  11. Looks like Birds has found another patsy to pump with 88e hopes whilst dumping his own shares. Don't do it Daz!!
  12. Selling and settlement - usually 3 months apart. You saying bill is received after settlement?
  13. I have bilsteins with kings. Can't fault it. Comfy ride. They are height adjustable by moving the circlip.
  14. Exhaust manifold off. Got stuck on lower intake manifold. There appears to be some hidden bracket bolts off the block. Argh Next up, head removal
  15. Final Inspection - they will tell you what to bother with
  16. 88E shareholder
  17. $200k not bad. It's no $800k though
  18. blast from the past. Ended-up pulling out the blend-door servo motor and resoldering the tracks. Problem solved
  19. That's a typo
  20. My point is negligence still occurred, be it a wrong tree or a wrong application form. Just because this time it was a dead tree doesn't mean it's fine. And yes I live in Brunswick
  21. Well if they still managed to cut down the wrong tree then they aren't helping their case. Can't hide behind slowing productivity when there is blatant negligence of process
  22. Taste it and find out.
  23. Speaking of LinkedIn; recruiter contacted me about work for an aluminium plant in Saudi Arabia lol
  24. Only posting so Ric receives and email.
