The car has same power to weight ratio as my stock r32 gtst and the way the v8 supercar driver drove my car on sandown (to the point of brake fade on a1rm's) any of us will take years of track work to really drive any car on its limits.
Power is a substitute for skill. This car designed to be pushed to its limits not win traffic lights
Lot of people placed deposit on the agreement that if under $40k they will buy. I've been told that they no longer accepting deposits. What a dealer does on the side for a gamble is his choice I guess.
If i want to fit a new bootlid onto the car (which will be sprayed) should i look for a poor condition black one? ie. if I supply a red one and ask the painter to spray black he would then have to prep/spray the underside?
Very hard to find a black bootlid, I do have a red one but not sure if worth painting. No doubt covering the red paint on the underside would be a pain...
Any thoughts?
If only the sirocco was awd that would be awesome. Although the golf R is no compromise either. Both good looking cars.
On another note pulled up to a Bmw with a V12 badge. Turned out to be a 760li. That will be $414000 thanks O_o
I've had beat box burger, epic! It is small but worth it. A good big burger is at barney Allens in St. Kilda, owned by heuy from heuys cooking, the sauce they have is epic.
Sounds like we need a burger run. The one at docklands was awesome too
Rb20 on stock ecu will feel sluggish until water temp hits 65deg. Baby it until over that temperature. It retards the timing until 65deg. I'll have a look tomorrow morning at the ignition timing value for your own info.
Past week I have been getting rough idle and dropping to the point of nearly stalling. no new mods to cause this change. Cleaned the aac and Iacv and problem still there. I wonder if it could be linked to cold start issue (which I have had prior to this idle issue)
Will clean afm and see if that's fixed at least one problem...
