spotted a black r32 pulled over by a cop on stud road outside stud park shopping centre (saturday 9ish pm)
  2. gg. Call up some mechanics, surely there must have some sitting around doing nothing?
  3. cheers for the plug! Unfortunately us regular people have to pay RRP for tyres
  4. The r32 is at sometimes 6-9yrs older than a r33. Which is a car that has taken its learnings from the r32 and made changes. So of course, the r33 will be more reliable than a r32 as it is newer and any bugs/weak points have been addressed. Its the reason why r34's look so much better cause they realised their mistake with the r33 styling and went back to a similar r32 design /troll
  5. Got some rare pods and skirts there! The coupe ones already sell for an arm and a leg, let alone sedan ones haha
  6. zzz no one needs tyres? Price negotiable
  7. ah nice. Is it really that hard to find a rb20? Thought there would be millions of them, as who would want them?
  8. did he get a sedan too? Cause coupe typeM skirts and pods aint gonna fit...
  9. haha true, but nothing is ever that simple in r32's Where'd you find such a cheap r32?
  10. All skylines are shit, I hate saying what car I have cause every joe citizin instantly associates them with hoon/tryhard/wog. Then you spend the next 5 minutes explaining that you are nothing like them ~_~

  12. I was using A1RM's as a daily pad. I was informed by QFM national sales manager that they are very harsh on rotors when they are cold. Hence why they chewed through my rotors really quickly as they did the most damage on cold mornings etc (chewed through my new rotors in 20,000km) He advised me to use HPX pads as a street/daily pad but they would fade on the track. The majority of the time, i was using the pads outside their ideal temp range and hence the premature rotor life. As you would be using the pads at their ideal temperature on the racetrack, you would have less rotor wear. Luke Youlden was the instructor, very good teacher

black r32. that was me, thanks You were the chaser with the crazy tyre stretch? The yellow and red DC2R's were my friends' cars.
  14. haha, thats only the beginning. haha the black sheep of the r33 family.
  15. its an older car, what do you expect? What I find amusing is that I cant seem to find any s1 burgandy r33's anymore. Couple years back, there were thousands of them. Now they all have disappeared. wtf happened to them
  16. theyre in my car due to swapping out my Sard's for epa. Buy yourself a brand new set of sard injectors and nistune. Should set you back $800, but at least they will last you for whatever power you want to push and nistune for future tuning. Dont bother with GTR injectors, mine leaked after a year. Do it right, do it once. Cut corners on a r32 and it will catch up on you.
  17. lol where did you get the idea that a r32 will be a cheap thrasher? Its not like ive been painting mine 24carot gold over the 5yrs A cheap thrasher would have been a s1 r33 gtst from the westside. Haters gonna hate. Rollin in my r32
  18. yeah in a pure track car you wont need the controller I have. Cheapest way would be having a water temp gauge/display and turn on the fan when required, but you wouldnt like to forget cause the temperatures will shoot straight up. You are better off just getting a simple temperature trigger controller. You can pick them up for under $50 etc Better off contacting Davies Craig and see if they can get back with any information. The easiest way would be to wire up a relay with a switch on the dash to trigger 12v power to the fans.
  19. Bridgestone Adrenalins 255/40's. 5mm tread. Buy them noaw
  20. you got adjustable actuator for sale?
  21. http://www.spalusa.com/pdf/FAN-PWM-V3_SPEC.PDF Look at Page 19 for wiring diagram for dual thermofan with OEM water temp sensor. The wiring takes some time but it is straight forward. A dual thermofan setup requires a relay, which i picked up from Jaycar. does a great job at not draining the battery! For those who dont know, it turns on one fan at 50% speed and gradually increases the speed to 100% depending if temperature increases. Once it hits the high temp setting, it will turn on the 2nd thermo fan and both will run at 100% speed until 5degree temp drop occurs and turns off the 2nd fan etc. All explained in the PDF. The idea is not to turn both fans on at 100% when it hits a temp setting as that will just shock the whole electric system.
  22. reconditioned rb20 gearbox can be picked up at http://www.japanesegearbox.com.au/rebuilds.html for $1k trade in. (this was a price back in 2007)
  23. better off sourcing a rb20. They sell for shit all as no one wants them.
  24. depending how low you will go, you will need to roll the rear guards. Also depending how stiff/low your front suspension is, you might need to remove the front guards liners. It all depends on your suspension setup though.
  25. $500 one tyre had a nail, removed and fixed by Bridgestone!
