  1. Pics as requested. Thermofan controller took a while to wire up. Turns on when AC is on and by a manual switch. Else it auto turns on/off based on temperatures you program. Cheers
  2. Thanks for the insight guys! Some valuable information there!
  3. lol yeah, was just taking part in the 'poor mans' game as they are a copy of the original impuls and went through a similar phase as the dteks. I think rotas are the new cheap wheel people are falling for now
  4. Same price as a jap FMIC but with a lot more power benefits! Get on it!
  5. what about starcorp impuls?
  6. nah bro, been raining for the past couple of days. Will have to wait till the sun comes out! Using the Spal thermofan controller, low temp set at 82deg and high temp at 89deg i think
  7. lol that attempt at an insult is so off the mark, you got no clue boy. Go back to studying for your exams. Best be mindful which side your sitting on boy, cause last time I checked im one of the remaining r32's floating around on these pages. Would be a shame once your lemon starts to play up. I have a spare ignitor module sitting infront of me now, might chuck it in the bin.
  8. Its got dteks on it.
  9. i lol'd
  10. -____- learn your wheels you dropkick. Drifteks are multi-stud and have less aggresive angle on the spokes. Uras are 5 stud, look much better and a japanese company. (To Funky; even IF you claim dteks and uras' are made in the same factory, would like to see proof on this, that doesnt mean it is the same. Material, tolerence limits and quality make the product. Just because they are in the same building doesnt mean they all follow the same requirements/limits. )
  11. you referring to 320mm height for track days? I'll be adjusting back to 340-350mm for trackdays which seems to be the best height for r32's in terms of handling. If i drop a circlip height and retighten the hat to take up some pre-load and then decide to flick the circlip back up (without re-adjusting the top hat) would this be causing any harm? Im assuming the spring will be under more pre-load as the distance between spring seat and tophat has reduced. Would I need to unwind the tophat? How much load should be forced onto the spring? Cheers for help again.
  12. ill be raising it for track days just want moar lows for daily.
  13. its 320 on the front and 340 on the rear. Want to lower the rear down, but when adjusting circlip it made the spring captive! Ill pull out the shock and tighten the tophat further down! Thanks for the help
  14. Hello all, Noob question. Have some Bilstein height adjustable circlip shock absorbers fitted in my car. At the time of fitting, i set the circlip at preferred height and tightened the tophat to create some pre-load on the spring. Wanted to lower the car a bit more and hence adjusted the circlip a notch down. Upon doing so, I noticed that my spring was now fully extended with no preload when car was still jacked up. ie. the spring could move up/down the shock and turn. Obviously with the car off the jack, the spring is compressed under the weight of the car. I just wanted to know, should I pull out the shock and screw down the top hat (im assuming to the bottom of the thread to achieve any preload on the spring (if possible?) Or is it okay to have the spring fully extended and able to move around when car is jacked up? Should the spring always be under some load regardless if on the car? Would like to know whether I need to pull out the shocks or just adjust the circlip height regardles of any preload on the spring. Thank you!
  15. dropped down to 235's on the rears, sits much better. Just need to lower it a tad moar and should be flush. Now need to get some 17x9 +30's for the fronts to fill out the guards. Keep an eye out for uras ns-01's for me w/ 17x9 +30. There is a pair in Tasmania but not sure how much it would cost for shipping? Anyone know an estimate? No idea what dimensions/weight to put into e-go....
  16. The picture shows white NS-01's? Any chance you got ns-01's? After a 9inch pair ^^,
  17. all this talk about alcohol is making me thirsty! Thanks gdogzgtr for the answer!
  18. I purchased the Flex-a-lite 420 thermofan from USA - 6.7mm thick As you can see from the pics, it was very very close to my power steering pump. The AU Thermofans flow a lot more air (close to double) so they are a much better fan setup for quick cooling. I tried doing a similar test as the video above, but mine didnt drop anywhere near as fast. Although mine was in the direct sunlight on a warm day. Couldnt get it below 81degrees on full speed at idle. However, there is a lot of gaps around the radiator which I will need to block off so there is room to improve. Controller im using is; Spal PWM controller http://www.spalusa.com/store/main.aspx?p=i...item=FAN-PWM-V3 Read the manual for the features, best on the market in terms of control. I'll try and get some proper photos up on the weekend.
  19. is it illegal to have an open alcoholic drink inside a car? Ive heard mixed responses. Can you clarify?
  20. you dropkick i told you last night in vic wasteland to investigate the igniter!
  21. I have 7x r32 stockies you can choose from and can arrange a r32 GTR steering wheel. Obviously to borrow!
  22. yeah pull it off and do it right! Buy a AU thermo fan setup (beware of the copies floating on ebay) Get a genuine AU thermofan from a wrecker or brand new from Ford. Install it and achieve the following;
  23. haha just tell the cops you ate some carbonara http://health.ninemsn.com.au/whatsgoodfory...-over-the-limit
  24. dude its not hard to suss out what the problem is. Start the car, let it idle. Go to your coilpacks. Unplug the coilpack connector. Change of sound? If not plug back in, and continue through the 6. If there is no change of sound then that coilpack is farked. Replace it, end. If it doesnt turn out to be the coilpacks, then look towards the injectors. See if any of the plugs has come loose. If it aint the injectors or sparkplugs, it could be the ignition module (the black thing ontop of the cover you remove at back of engine)
  25. You would need to make up a custom one, and even then its not going to work as how its meant to. Im assuming you have mounted the thermo fans directly onto the radiator? The thermofans need to be spaced off the radiator. The thermofans then allow the fans to pull air using the shroud. By mounting it directly to the radiator and covering the rest with a shroud aint going to achieve much
