bah sent a letter to EPA requesting a warning due to being on business trip for the past 3 weeks. Just got a letter saying, they wont fine me but still need to clear EPA Guess i'll be trailing the car up to motorkhana this weekend and then deal with the whole epa hassles Anyone got a factory r32 airbox, factory r32 catback and factory ecu they willing to sell/lend me? Hmm sent a letter to EPA asking for warning/extension as I was overseas for business for a month... It's been 4 weeks since letter sent and haven't heard anything. Not sure if I can drive the car or not useless hippies. Will call them I guess

re-reading your mod list. The engine conversion would have already been epa compliant as a factory engine has been put in. The only epa changing modification I can see is the ecu. (unless you engineered a larger turbo and/or larger injectors?) Although I have read that ecu compliance would also fall under full emission testing etc... Needs more reading into!

contacted a couple of engineers. Managed to kindly extract some information For anyone interested; AD*R 79/00 test: $1300 + gst AD*R 37/01 test: $1600 + gst This cost also follows the additional fees for the engineer to organise such testing and eventually certifying/approving the car. Ideally a test should be done to determine the current state of the car and then improve to ensure it meets standards. (ie. in the ballpark of at least 2 tests; before/after) Estimating $5000~ worth of costs if the modifications can fall within ADR guidelines. Will update with more info as it comes in.

Have a look at the offset calculator on http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html +53 and +38 (assuming same tyre size) The edge of the new tyre will be 14mm closer to the inside of the wheel well and suspension components, and 14mm further in from the edge of the bodywork. So im assuming you would need 14mm spacer to bring it out to stock offset. +30 will give you a flush stance on r32's (and possible cause scrubbing depending on suspension setup). So I would assume you would need a 27mm spacer? Someone verify the above. edit; fyi. wheel spacers are illegal and can cause more stress on the thread if they are not bolt-on type. You may also have wheel balancing issues if they arent hub-centric spacers.

My constant o2 issue is still ongoing. Found a lot of vac hoses leaking on the manifold, along with the hose attached to the outlet of the turbo. Will replace these and see if my o2 sensor issue is fixed!

o2 sensor voltage should deff be between 0 - 1v. I once had a GTR o2 sensor in my GTST which would read 2.55v which is obviously wrong! Replaced with a gtst o2 sensor and was back to 0 - 1v. Double check the model number on the o2 sensors to confirm if you have the correct one for your car. Even though it plugs diresctly into the connector doesnt mean it is the right one.

awesome car! love it. What offset/width are the wheels + tyre size? All my vac hoses under the manifold have recently started to leak Should replace all of them like yourself!

do they even have the correct PCD for a skyline? My money is they arent...
