  6. Was driving down highstreet looking for a carpark at 6pm. Stuck in peak hour traffic. Raging cause everything is a friggen clearway. Then notice there is a cop behind me. Moving 5km/h in traffic, waiting for the disco lights. On goes the lights, and i pull over to the side of the single lane road moving at 5km/h Cop comes out, says its a "random license inspection". Asks for license checks it, does a bretho and goes back into car. Whole peak hour traffic staring at me haha Cop comes back, hands me back license and tells me to have a nice day ~_~ End of story
  7. thanks for the info. It used to cycle during cruising but now it just sits on 0.06v when cruising! Can feel timing being pulled back and car feeling funny. It happened after 18 runs at the drag strip. O2 sensor probably cooked itself haha I replaced my o2 sensor last year, so its only done maybe a max of 15,000km. My car also idling at 1000rpm after the drags but I dont think thats related to the o2 sensor... Guess a new o2 sensor :S
  8. rawwrrrr shouldnt have done those 18 runs at the drag strip. Car idling at 1000rpm and my o2 sensor is playing funny haha Needs more weekends
  9. Hello, Quick question; - What voltage does the o2 sensor show on idle once warmed? Mine is cycling crazy between 0 and 1v. - What voltage does the o2 sensor show when cruising at constant rpm? I know it should be cycling between 0 and 1v, but sometimes mine locks up on 0.06v. Just want to check if my o2 sensor is playing up. Thanks

  11. OP is slack! Your suspension requirements are no different to the millions of suspension workshop threads and hence did not need another thread! Expected more from you Leigh!
  12. Ive found this place in Rowville; They seem to know their japanese gearboxes http://www.japanesegearbox.com.au/rebuilds.html They quoted me a couple years ago; $1000~ exchange for a rebuilt RB20 gearbox. Would be a different price for RB25 i imagine.
  13. Hello all, Thought I will create a thread detailing my radiator upgrade. Decided to buy an ASI 52mm radiator for r32 gtst As with all chinese radiators, the water temp sensor thread is the wrong size and hence it has to be enlarged in order to fit the factory sensor. Once fitted, there is no space for the factory engine fan and shroud. (unless you heavily chop into both) When fitted, there was only a clearance of 6.8cm between the radiator and the power steering pump pulley. Therefore only the slimmest thermofans on the market would be my only option. I ended up purchasing Flex-a-lite 420 slimline thermofans (6.7cm thick) Brackets also needed to be purchased to fit the thermofan onto the radiator. The power steering lines also got in the way. Therefore they were modified so they ran to the side of the pump as shown below. You can see the U-bracket which used to guide the hoses. Final results; There is 1-2mm clearance between the pulley and the plastic mesh surrounding the fan blades. The fan blades sit further in, so if there is any movement, it will not hit the blades. Thanks to Revzone in Ringwood, Victoria for installing the lot! (customizing the power steering lines and mounting the thermofans onto the radiator) Conclusion: - Dont get 52mm radiator - Whilst driving on the street, water temps sit on 78-80degrees with no thermofans running (weather temperatures ranging from 8degrees - 18 degrees) Hopefully others will realise the challenges of fitting a 52mm radiator and have a good think about it before purchasing. Thanks again to Revzone - Patrick

  20. tried new coilpacks? Cracked/worn coilpacks cause misfiring around the 4000rpm~ mark
  21. 69 to 73?? That sounds quite cold, thought the ideal operating temperature is around 80degrees?
  22. Funky, got a box of picnic left over from the sau drag day if you want it haha.
  23. haha they were rejects only due to being underweight. No one wants to buy an underweight bar (and no one should be sold one either) haha practice makes perfect, was my first time unlike you!
  24. On another note, I still have 4kg of Cadbury Picnic's left! Poor job at cleaning them all out sau/wrx people!
