  1. Does anyone have any spare 3inch silicon hose bends? Im after a 90degree bend or 45degree bend, just want to borrow and/or buy if it fits! My airpod sits too high and hits the bonnet, want to put a bend between the AFM and airpod so its sitting inside the vacant space where the airbox was! (or a bend between intake pipe/afm whatever works) Plz help! Thanks <3
  2. argh have to be at Brunswick at 8am this week. 6am wakeup's FTL
  3. I have heard/read that rear speakers dont need to be amped because they dont have any improvements for the driver. If you have decent amped front speakers with a sub, your midbass and subbass is already covered without the need for rear speakers. Rear speakers are just for rear passengers ye?
  4. bah you all emo. Worked it out There are two looms at the back of the headunit Small loom is for the back speakers which consists of; Brown with silver tracer - Right Positive Black with red stripe - Right Negative Blue with silver tracer - Left Positive Black with white stripe - Left Negative So I searched for these colour wires on the amp connector as seen here I then chopped them and wired directly to the new speakers. The other end of the wires connect to the speakers are seen. If you look in the above photo, you can see the factory speaker connector hanging to the right. If you peel back the plastic you can see the colour of the wiring. (in the photo there is a green wire for the negative) This green wire + the others are also located on the amp connector which I chopped into. So if you are going to use the factory speaker connector, you can just bridge the wires on the amp plug instead of running new wiring as I did. I only ran the new wiring as the factory speaker connector would not reach my new speakers etc Dont mind the dodgy wiring, photos were taking during testing, everything cleaned up Hope that helps anyone with non-working rear speakers
  5. Hello Im after a picture which shows which wires to connect together to bypass the stock active speaker amp under the parcel shelf. I posted years ago a website which had pics but it has gone down http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ac...active+speakers http://www.skylinegts.co.uk/bypassactivespeakers.htm Did anyone save the pictures? Thanks

  18. you are better off with the bilstein setup. Its designed for australian roads and its nice to drive on roads. Once you load up the springs by pushing the car, the springs stiffen up and you get some awesome handling. In the end, shocks/springs only make up one bit of the suspension. Swaybars do a lot in terms of handling.
  19. Not sure how you going to get a bilstein setup for $1k I got mine from ERD which is around the $1400 mark. Same setup as sydneykid's (but progressive kingsprings instead of linear whiteline springs) http://erd.com.au/index.php?option=com_seb...=store&ck=2 Email ERD and ask them what would suit you.
