Had golfball size hail in dandenong. All i could do is watch my lights flashing from the car alarm, couldnt hear it at all from all the hail noise. Havent looked over the car, dont want to upset my self by fiding dents/chips on my 2month old micolour respray My parents brand new car got a belting in ferntree gully where the hail was size of tennis balls. My friends in rowville have smashed car windows and holes through their satelite dish O_o

Hey, Ive noticed a ticking sound coming from my rear passenger wheel when driving. I can hear it clearly at 80-90km/h when there is another car driving next to me. I remember during a drift training day, when i was learning hand-brake turns, I did leave the hand-brake partially engaged (half way down) and did hear loud ticking noise when i would be exiting the corner. Since leaving the event I have had this ticking sound coming from the rears when driving. Would anyone know if a ticking sound could be related to the handbrake? Obviously im not driving with the handbrake on when at 80-90km/h but the ticking sounds very similar... Any ideas?? Cheers

thanks guys for the help. Reason why I ask is because im installing a water/methanol injection system into the car which has a failsafe trigger. If the water/methanol flow sensor detects no flow then I want the boost to drop down to wastegate pressure, as the engine will lean out bad if it runs without the water/methanol. So trying to find best way to cut boost. Im also looking into how to trigger knock map on my ecu so boost is dropped to wastegate and running on limp mode Cheers

or; how would an EBC react when it is switched off under full boost etc? Will the solenoid open and revert back to wastegate pressure under full load? Has anyone tried turning off their boost controller at 15psi+ ? haha

One option ive discovered is to run a mac valve with a manual bleed valve. As you can see from the picture, when the mac valve is triggered, it routes it straight to the wastegate and effectively cuts boost. Problem is the mac valve looks chunky and ugly. Looking for a small decent dual stage boost controller which does the same.

Hello, Im after a 2 stage electronic boost controller. Either one which has wastegate boost pressure and a defined boost pressure chosen by a switch or two defined boost pressure. Reason is, im trying to setup a fail-safe method, and need a way to trigger to low boost/wastegate pressure from a defined setting when shit hits the fan. Thanks

trying to come up with a failsafe for my water/meth. The system has a trigger wire, either ground or 5v. Want it to trigger a boost controller so it switches to low boost/wastegate boost. If you turn off an ebc during boost does it revert to wastegate pressure or stay at the pressure whilst it was on.

does the r32 have a map sensor ecu pinout?

haha injects water and methanol into the engine. Water absorbs a shit load of heat (and cleans the engine) and methanol is 116~ octane. Should hopefully get me to around 240-250kw

they are neither. They are Uras NS-01, drifteks and rota's are some china spec quality. I like to think uras (being a jap company) put more effort in the quality haha They are 8inch +30 on front and 9inch +30 on rear Its my daily run tune, quite safe as its low boost and 11.5afr.
