  1. there is a cricket outside communicating with the one inside my room haha.
  2. theres a cricket in my room chirping fuuuuuuuuuuuu
  3. Sweet thanks for that guys. Hose #1 and #3 are explained as vacuums. Although would any manifold air pass through these pipes? As I will be hooking up a catchcan to the piping, would I end up with a puddle of water/meth? What about the fuel pressure regulator? yeah the plan was to mount the nozzle on the cross over pipe but as mentioned by smell, this water/meth will then be recirculated through the turbo and intercooler due to the factory bov. I have found some nasty pictures of pre-turbo water/meth sprays which have chewed through the fins. I was thinking of mounting the nozzle after the TB, that way nothing will flow through the turbo. However, im not sure if I would get an even spray to each cylinder as the manifold is quite large.. So yeah, any chance of methanol causing damage to the PCV and fpr? Thanks
  4. [/video ] haha the whole truth comes out, cant half truth it here You still interested in doing Industrial Design. My brother applied for monash ind Design and his friend applied for rmit ind Design. Monash included a portfolio submission and an interview rmit included a test which i think leads to an interview.
  5. I wonder if i can re-convert my AC system back to R12 to use this hychill.. Go to KarAir in ferntree gully. The above link is their web address but it aint working
  6. You would need to ram it in pretty hard, in my car theres no chance of putting it into 1st unless you rev and push it till it slides (grinds) in haha
  7. Hi, Looking into doing water-methanol injection system and just want to double check I wont be causing any damage. Just want to clarify the hoses located in the blue circle labeled 1 to 5 (disregard the red, using picture in another thread) Hose 1: Draws air from manifold? Hose 2: ? Hose 3: Manifold pressure hose for fuel rail (does this blow manifold air through or is it a vacuum?) Hose 4: Coolant? Hose 5: ? Do any of these hoses flow air from the intake manifold? As the air will be mixed with water/methanol I want to know if this air goes straight to the engine or do they bypass through any of those hoses? Thanks
  8. u managed to go from 4th gear to 1st gear by accident? Unless you managed to rev-match i find that hard to believe. Unless you were rolling at 10kmh in 4th gear and then went into 1st haha

    Teh Heat.

72 degrees is quite cold. Isnt the efficient operating temperature around the 80 degrees? My car cycles from 82 to 95degrees depending on weather.
  10. Check out my thread for info on how to fit the resistor pack. A bit simpler than ripping apart the whole loom. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...hl=gtr+injector

Spotted some guy walking through knox ozone with a sau-vic lanyard hanging out of his pocket haha Was around 8pm?
  13. Doing some research, water-meth solution isnt as dangerous as it sounds. As those window washer solutions you buy from autobarn etc are basically water and methanol (60%-40%) Its also safe to run this fluid through an injection system as people usually use their window washer reservoir as the source for the water-meth kit. The system can also be used as 100% water. Not sure how NOS lines look like, but a water-meth kit is just a nozzle drilled into the fmic tubing with a plastic tube coming off it and going to a 12v pump attached to a bottle. Probably NOS system is more complicated than that haha. Cheers
  14. worst case you can try these guys http://www.japanesegearbox.com.au/rebuilds.html Last time i was there, they can supply a full rebuilt rb20 gearbox for $1k
  15. Hey, Does anyone know if water/meth spray systems are legal in victoria? I couldnt find any info on vic roads Is it as bad as having a nos system in a car? Seeing as methanol is a flammable liquid... Thanks
  16. Letting everyone know that Driver Dynamics has a beginners drift day on January 30th (same format as the previous 2 held) $202.50 for SAU-VIC members and $225 for everyone else. There's five spots remaining.
  17. sweet no probs. Drop it by whenever you can
  18. haha i caught the plane to/from mackay. I was one week in Airley beach (full of backpackers) and another week in mission beach. (2 pubs and full of retirees )
  19. my flight was to mackay and then a 5 hour trip up north just off cairns. The humidity was a killer up there. More water than oxygen. 24/7 Aircon in the car and at the house lol Funny to see people having water hoses running 24/7 watering a patch of dirt. No water restrictions up there.
  20. Get used to 30degree days everyday haha Although Brisbane isnt as humid as all the north places, so you should be able to breath sorta normal haha
  21. woo good to be back in melb. North queensland way too humid
  22. anyone here from mission beach? Been on holidays for a week here. Its bloody raining, stupid rainforest. Hopefully it passes for tonight.

  25. Replacing my old AC compressor with a second hand and changing to R134a gas system ended up costing me around $500 i think. My second AC compressor has let go too, so would have to get it replaced again the R134a gas makes the compressor work harder and probably why the second-hand one let go after 2 years
