Hey, Have a couple items for sale; 1. Item: R32 GTS Bootlid (No Spoiler) Description: R32 GTS Bootlid came from factory with no spoiler! Means no holes to bog/weld. Sanded back for painting. Reason for sale: The metal has popped off the inner skeleton in the centre, will need to be either glued back on, or wedge something between there. Unnoticeable from the outside and can be used without fixing it. Only difference between any other bootlid is if you push down firm in the centre the metal will flex up/down. Location: Ferntree Gully, Victoria Price: $60 FIRM Photos: 2. Item: R32 Front Right Guard Description: No indicator hole or badge. Sanded back. Nothing wrong with it. The hks2530 is ball bearing, not sure on power rating. Will direct bolt on manifold, dump pipe another story... HKS2530 came out in 2 models. Series 1 and Series 2. Series 1; - Has a unique flange and needs the matching HKS cast dump pipe to be able to fit onto car - Has more fins on wheel - No split between wheel/wasteage Series 2; - Has a T3 flange which direct bolts to rb20 dump pipe - Has 9 fins on wheel which has been redesigned to be more responsive - Has a split between wheel and wastegate as opposed to the series 1 hks2530

ah $800 ey not bad. Although a rb25 turbo sells for around $200~ for $800 you can import a hks2530 from japan When i was looking back at getting a hiflow rb20 (at one point I had one but didnt fit on car) I was told it could make 210kw atw, whereas a rb25 turbo on a rb20 would make around 180-190kw but I couldnt find any evidence to back up the rb20 hiflow results. I guess ask hypergear themselves how much power it can make and if its larger than a rb25 or is it smaller? Let us know what you decide on.

hiflowing will set you back $1500~? You can pick up a HKS2530 turbo for that price which will make 230kw atw w/ supporting mods. The hiflow rb20 turbo would probably just hit 200kw atw i reckon

My car doesnt move until after 4000rpm haha Keeping up in traffic means constantly revving to 4000rpm and making plenty of noise but the ride from 4000 to 7500 makes up for the 750-4000rpm lag

Full exhaust (front/dump pipe, hiflow cat, catback) - $1000~ (depending if you have catback already on car, if you do, prob $500 for the other bits) Intercooler - $300-$500~ Fuel pump - $150-$250~ Ecu management - $250 (Nistune www.nistune.com) + installation $50 = $300~ Z32 airflow meter - $200 Gtr injectors (for rb20 only) $150~ + $150 cleaning = $300~ Thats just a quick summary of supporting mods which can be used along with a rb25 conversion (except the gtr injectors) Then you can throw in a; hks 2530/2535 turbo - $1000-$1500 and followed by a tune - $400-$600~ (2530 is best setup for rb20, 2535 is more laggier but can be transferred over to a rb25 and still be okay once the rb20 let goes) My above prices adds up to around $3500 which will get you around 210-230kw atw on a rb20 and you will also have all supporting mods still left to be used on another engine if it lets go. Im sure if you get a rb25 conversion you are not going to leave everything else stock and will end up spending extra money in the future. Comes down if you want rb25 now and slowly add supporting mods to get more power, or build up the rb20 now and worry about it once it let goes. Im running all the mods above on my 175,000km engine and its running perfectly. Depends how well you have maintained your rb20 Also if you swap to rb25 might as well change the gearbox too as the rb20 box will let go sooner or later. Hope that helps.

meeh i bought a bottle to try it, barely removed any scratches. Reading the fine print it says you will need to apply several coats and buff to get any result. I want something which will get the job done the first time

For any potential buyers, double check if its a series 1 hks2530 or series 2 hks2530. Series 1 hks2530 has a unique mounting flange (looks similar to a gtr flange) and needs the matching hks dump pipe. Might be best to clear up the dimensions of the flange so no one gets caught out if they buy turbo on its own.
