  1. Same can be said for any skyline with any illegal modifications to it. Insurances can still void any payout if they deem the accident may have been caused from your tune, injectors, upgraded turbo, under the legal height limit etc Guess every member on this forum is going to end up bankrupt if they have an accident... I get off my P's tomorrow, so now they cant void my claim by age, but they still have my mods which they can use...
  2. lol shit that sounds scary haha I ended up buying a full-face helmet. Took a while to find one which would fit glasses in. Ended up with a M2R, claims to be the only australian made helmet, go Australia
  3. ive heard its quite common with button clutches, but its unheard of for organic clutches.
  4. p-plate on the r34 gtr what the?
  5. Need generic injector connectors, rb20 connectors dont fit on gtr injectors unless you cut some of the notches off the injectors. Have to wire in GTR resistor ballast, refer to the link below for my explanation. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...mp;hl=injectors
  6. Hey, Recently on cold mornings when i first drive the car. When i move off in First gear, the car starts to wobble/shake during the clutch pedal release. Once im off the clutch the car is fine. When i change through gears its fine. If i come to a stop at lights again and take off in first, the car again starts to wobble/shake as i slip the clutch to take off. Once ive driven for 5 minutes etc the problem never occurs and never happens during the day. Only happens when I first drive the car in the morning. It also happens when reversing from driveway slowly, the car begins to wobble/shake and need to get off the clutch to stop it. This problem used to happen with my old standard clutch and replaced it with exedy h/d clutch. Now, after driving with the clutch for the past 1yr the problem is slowly coming back... Im not sure if its clutch related, flywheel related etc Anyone know what the problem is? Is it oil or something dripping on clutch overnight causing it to slip and cause the weird side to side wobble the car has in the morning? Any help would be great Thanks

blackburn rd just after high street road intersection (next intersection) I think its a black Porsche lost it and took out the whole fence of the house on the corner. Car is sitting perpendicular to the road. Probably oversteered and drifted into the fence taking it all out. Cops standing around and a tow truck.
  9. This guy has done it; http://ausrotary.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=171325 Ask him
  10. No one has black bootlid with spoiler? What about a black bootlid with typeM spoiler removed and holes filled in? Cheers
  11. ah k nice nice, wasnt 100% sure on all the cars I saw, they all drove past pretty quickly. You drove past the tank ride venue on boneo road. Hidden behind the trees was this roaming around
  12. Was at Cape Schank today, on boneo road saw a whole convey of super cars. Ferraris, Lambo's r8's, lotus, maserati all driving together super car club?
  13. haha still do, 4th year is killing me. I always park at the back of the ground level. Between a pillar and the road so no one can park next to me
  14. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyre...8340/0/VSI8.pdf "The overall diameter of any replacement rim and tyre must not be; - More than 15mm greater than largest diameter tyre specified by the vehicle manufacturer for that model or vehicle series" * Convert the metric measure to inches by dividing by 25.4. (225 ÷ 25.4 = 8.86 inches) * Multiply the section height in inches by the aspect ratio (in this case, 45) to determine the section height. (8.86 x 45% = 3.987 inches) * Multiply the section height by 2, then add the wheel diameter as noted in the tire size. In this example, the wheel diameter is 16 inches. (3.987 x 2 + 17 = 24.974 inches – Overall Tire Diameter) * 24.974 inches to cm is 63.43 centimeters Lets say you have 245/35/R19 * 245 ÷ 25.4 = 9.65 inches * 9.65 * 35% = 3.376 inches * 3.376 x 2 + 19 = 25.752 inches - overall tyre diameter * 25.752 inches to cm is 65.41008 centimeters Soooooooooo the difference is 1.98cm, which is 20mm hence illegal haha But if you have 235/35/R19 it equals; 64.71cm Which is 1.28cm difference; 12.8mm difference and hence it is legal? No idea if im right or not, explain that to a cop and you'll be right.. What tyre size you got on the 19inch?

    Vic Red P Platers

If you on green P's and got your license during the 125kw/tonne restriction law, r32 gtst series 2 (1991-1993) are legal due to being heavier than series 1. Although try explaining that to a cop who is eager on slapping a high powered vehicle fine on you
  16. Just saying that the r32 is a type-M. Type-M package usually includes larger brakes on the front, different front bar, factory sideskirts etc. The factory options varied from dealer to dealer in Japan so there is no clear explanation for type-M Basically nearly all r32 turbo's are type-M, havent seen a non type-m

Spotted a blue r34 gtr on the side of ferntree gully road with no rego plates on it. Was on Saturday morning
  18. Nearly every r32 gtst/4 is a typeM. It is quite rare to find one which isnt. The best way to tell is the 4pot calipers on the front. lol what a load of rubbish. Please back up any statements with proof... There is barely a difference in price too, due to the extra weight from the awd system it doesnt give them a great advantage over a gtst
  19. Here is an article about it; http://carsguide.news.com.au/site/news-and...t_r_test_drive/ i think its similar to the one in the newspaper?
  20. what kind of defect needs you to put back stock rims on the car? Sounds dodgy. As long as the aftermarket rim is within the Vicroads guidelines I dont see how it matters...Show them the VSI and tell them to eat it? lol
  21. Nothing legal about a stock standard skyline (if turbo). All turbo cars are illegal for p-platers and if caught have a possibility of $1000 fine and 3 demerit points. No dealer is going to let a 18yo kid test drive a car on them selves. They will just assume you are another dreamer looking for a joy ride. (be it turbo or non-turbo) Go with an adult (dad etc) and then your chances of a test drive will increase. Else, the dealer wont even bother coming out of his office to talk to you.
