  3. Hey, I was wondering if anyone has rear left/right r32 gtst driveshafts sitting around? Trying to solve a vibration problem and after a set to swap over and test...Will need by Tuesday night the latest! So need a set urgently Let me know! Thanks
  4. a larger displacement engine will produce more exhaust gasses. Ive heard that because of this, the rb25 turbo on a rb20 can be dialed in to push more boost... Although its all talk and wouldnt trust it unless someone can prove its safe.
  5. My friend got rear-ended in his mazda 121. He has 3rd party insurance and other car had no insurance. My friend's insurance offered him $3000 or $2600 if wants to keep car. So he paid $400 to keep his car.
  6. you cant run a car with a standard ecu with z32 afm Not sure if SAFC can be made to make it work, but your standard ecu will hate the z32

Also spotted on saturday night a very clean white v35 with custom rego plates containing V35 and some other numbers/letters Had a long bootlid spoiler which stuck out further than the bootlid. Anyone from here?
  8. im iffy about spending good tyre money on your stockies cause they can only provide so much grip. I reckon pick up a set of r32 gtr rims for $500 and then buy proper tyres for them. Look on the bright side, least you dont have 17inch rims, Adrenalins are $320 per tyre
  9. woo time to buy some Australian made bridgestones or bilsteins/whiteline suspension Doing my bit for the country! lol

Spotted a white r33 with sauvic stickers waiting on princes hwy at westall rd intersection. Around 4:20pm I was the black r32 gtst turning off westall rd onto princes
  11. Ive got 17x8 on the front with +30 offset. With 235/45 tyres it scrubbed, 225/45 no more tyre scrub Ive got 17x9 on the rear with +30 offset. With 235/45 tyres they scrub on the back if I have people in the back. Although this could be due to my shocks being worn out, will update with info once I get new suspension. I'll be aiming for the Sydneykid's bilstein shocks and whiteline springs package ($1300~) I reckon pick up a set of r32 GTR rims and get some Adrenalins for them. Would be better than the stock gtst rims you got now.
  12. Thanks for help. Did you buy your injector wiring plugs brand new? Any idea on what Nissan would charge for them? cheers

  15. Hey, Planning on installing GTR injectors into my rb20 this weekend and wanted to know how straight-forward it is. Ive been reading up a couple of threads but majority of them are cluttered with useless jibba-jabba Ive read the best way is to remove the top part of the plenumn to get easy access to the injectors. Ive purchased the following from a Nissan Dealer; Are these the only gaskets needed? N1617553J00 Gasket - Throttle Chamber - $18.00 N2378540F00 Gasket - AAC Valve - $3.40 N1403272L01 Gasket - Intake Manifold - $13.60 My injector cleaner workshop said to place grease around the rings when pushing the injectors onto the fuel rail. Ive heard some grease can eat rubber? Which grease is best to apply to create a tight seal. Does anyone have pictures of where the GTR Resistor pack was fitted in the engine bay in their r32 rb20? Anyone have photos of the wiring to the resistor pack and any tips on how to easily determine which wire? Also any other tips / hints when installing gtr injectors I'll update this thread after Saturday with some progress pictures to help people in the future. edit; Ill be doing the work in wheelers hill, victoria. If you've done the wiring before and are willing to give us a hand, please PM me Thanks Patrick
  16. Decided to try BCPR6E 1.1mm in my R32 GTST w/ 200kw atw & splitfire coilpacks Previously had 0.8mm gap due to a misfire problem which was fixed with the splitfire coilpacks 1.1mm gives me no misfire at 15psi, however will update once i get car properly tuned and pushing more boost (18psi~)

  18. This burger cruise was planned by kris, ap and myself and then was posted online seconds after the conversation. Although this doesn't fall into the lines of an official sauvic cruise (with insurance, licenses etc) it was still regarded as an sauvic event (reviewed during general meeting). This is where some of the confusion has come through due to no "behind the scenes" planning. All im interested in is helping in planning little events outside of cruises (dinner, gokarts, paintball etc) just like this burger meet... Hope this clarifies any issues
  19. I agree 100% with you if you are referring to the position that Wayne has. However what Kris is talking about is the sub-event organiser positions which Dezz and AP were assigned to. Basically Ash posted up a thread asking for help and these two were the first to raise their hands for the position. Hope that clears up what type of event organiser position Kris and myself are interested in becoming a part of. Cheers
  20. Non Turbo R32's come with 4 stud rims and smaller brake calipers on the front. Blue GT badges on the side of the car instead of red. Thats from the top of my head, wouldn't know what else.
  21. yeah ive heard people mention that before too, just wanted to clarify on sau What do you mean by heavily modified? My car currently has rebuilt hks2530 and will be pushing about 220kw atw after tune. Went with motul 300v for the sake of the new turbo. I'll try 4100 next time. Cheers
  22. sif me, i dont attend the princes hwy cruises. Saw it once and it aint my kind of thing. P.S: I forgot your website and had to end up buying cartridges from officeworks PM us the website address again.
  23. My car is a daily used for work and uni, so i do a bit of driving. I usually do 5000km in about 3 months. As the motul is 2-3x more expensive than the regular oils, wanted to know if it had a longer lifespan due to its quality. Didnt want to dump $100 every couple of months when it can easily last more kilometers. Cheers
  24. Hi, Ive decided to test out motul 300v chrono oil on my r32 and the results have been awesome. The car idles much smoother and quieter. Just wanted to know how long I could drive on this oil before replacing. Being such an expensive oil I would like to think it would last longer than your regular oils. My previous oil (martini) was changed every 5000km but wasnt as expensive or fancy as the 300v. Would the 300v be fine up to 7500km or 10000km? The car is a daily and will see one motorkhana event in the next 5000km. Should i bother changing it every 5000km for a daily or can i stretch it out to 7500 / 10000km? Thanks Patrick
  25. Not good at all. Drove up to echuca on sunday morning. Hume Hwy was blocked off in the morning and had to divert through Northern Hwy. Going through all the little towns you could see cops blocking residential roads to the east. Saw about 10+ fire trucks tanking up at one time at Kilmore. Whole drive up there was smoky. On the way back, they opened up Hume Hwy. Alongside the hume everything was burnt. Even the little strip of grass between lanes. It was unbelievable. At an intersection on a main highway everyone stopped to give way for the firetrucks even though it wasnt their way and didnt have lights on. A stupid delivery truck behind me was beeping at us to drive because it was our way. Shows you how some people dont give a crap...
