one SMIC is more than enough, no need for two. The r34 GTT smic is a direct bolt-on for the r33 and is about 50% larger than the r33 i think. I currently have a ARC SMIC which is 50% larger than r34 smic and have no issues pushing 200kw atw. Going to push it to 230kw atw and see how the ol' smic will handle

Just finished putting in motul 300v chrono! Picked up a couple of bottles from Status Tuning. The engine idles so smoothly and quietly now! Cant hear anything, well worth the money. Status Tuning is having a group buy for 300v (only for victoria), have a look in the groupbuy section; i think they selling for $89 for 4ltrs

Sorry for the noob question, How do i go about organising a CAMS license for the event? As my friend who wants to compete is not in a car club, does this means he needs to get a AASA licence? Any help/links would be great, will be my first deca event

How much can you get the 4ltr+2ltr bottle for?

yanked off my o2 sensor, its a NTK OTD2F-2B. Has 3 wires; red,white and black and a plug. Is this a suitable o2 sensor for RB20? I see website's stating its a GTR o2 sensor, did my mechanic buy the wrong o2 sensor? Thanks

no worries, thanks for that. Just trying to find a relation to why my ignition timing retards after a hot engine startup. Will check out the o2 sensor tomorrow and see if anything changes, thanks

Thanks for the help, appreciate it. Ill double check the wiring tomorrow in the daylight and see if it matches up. From what ive read, there are 2 heater wires and 1 sensor wire. Bother heater wires are same colours on both the o2 sensor and the connector on the car. Just got to match up the unique colour wire on the o2 to the unique colour on the car connector. Also, seeing as you program/build consult reading units, does 7degrees ignition timing sound normal on cold engine cruising (below 65degree's?) Cheers

mm yes it does run RnR when its cold but its never dropped to 7deg constant over the 2yrs ive been driving it. Now it feels much more pulled back. Just wanted to make sure that 7degree is the value it drops to when temperature is below 65degree's... yeah the o2 sensor hits a maximum of 2.55v but usually stays above the 1.00+ value. It does drop to around 0.67~ but i dont like how it has such a large range up to 2.5v It is a NTK o2 sensor and assumed they make direct replacement o2 sensors... Would you happen to have any information on the wiring of the o2 sensor?, might double check if everything is correct Thanks

Spotted a black r34 on wellington rd/stud rd intersection. I think you beeped at me as i turned? Also spotted a white r34 with sau-vic stickers. I was the black r32 pulling out of the wreckers at dandenong

When cruising my ignition timing sits on 7degrees, as soon as my water temperature hits 65degree's the ignition timing jumps to 35degrees~ and feels normal whilst driving. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is this normal? Thanks

dude gtr injectors for the rb20 is the best option. Dont waste silly amount of money on aftermarket injectors. You just get the injectors cleaned and they will be good as new (cost about $200 for 6 injectors to be cleaned and new orings etc) hmm thanks for the info. So the gtr injector plugs are on the gtr loom im assuming? Got a set of cleaned gtr injectors + gtr resistor pack sitting next to me. No motivation to them in haha Let us know if you will be interested installing them, looking around for quotes atm. Where did you find the plugs and how much do they roughly cost? Thanks

When Abu fit them on his r32, all he did was shave off the conflicting notch and it all fit perfectly. Let us know how much you charge to install+wire in resistor pack. cheers

i have the exact same problem on my car right after i got my clutch installed (apart from the vibration going away after 5seconds clutch press,will try tomorrow) Mechanic blames suspension, suspension shop blames mechanic.... Does the vibration go away after 120km/h? I've had this problem for the last 6months... Deciding to change the shocks/springs and see if it fixes the problem. My mechanic balanced the tailshaft which fixed the problem slightly. Although it doesnt hurt to get a wheel balance/alignment done. Will set you back $100 and then you will know its not suspension related. Keep us updated on the problem

GTR injectors are direct replacement for RB20. The only difference is you will need to wire in a resistor pack for the gtr injectors. r33 turbo on a rb20 with tune should get you around 180-200kw atw. The standard rb20 injectors max out at around 210kw atw. So you could get away without getting gtr injectors but you will be sitting close to the limit.. Physical differences for GTR injectors are they have a yellow plastic top whereas the rb20 ones are red. Also the connector for the power has a different notch (you will just need to file a bit of the connector on your loom for it to fit. It will make sense once you start connecting them up.
