  6. Ask the ecu to draft up a role description & put out a feeler to find a piggy-back to take some of the load.
  7. In for VWL engine swap. I can manage the change. Just in case the gearbox doesn't get along with the new engine & the alternator starts looking for other opportunities.

  21. All comes down to having clear goals at start of year. If the weekend work enables you to achieve your KPI/goals then its a tough situation as it can be used towards/against you at your performance review. Weekend work tends to be classed as 'development opportunity' or as evidence in showing the right behaviours towards the business. (which again could be a factor in your performance review) My boss told me from the beginning that if you want to achieve an "above expectations" ranking you would need to work on breaks if required. Days in lieu offered though. The many differences & challenges between a job & a 'career'...
  22. yup & tomorrow too. #fifolyf
  23. As long as the second hand quality tyre has majority of its tread left why would it be better than a brand new cheap set? You wont get the same lifespan out of the second hand set but you will have much better handling instead. & with our cars setup for traffic light runs & tourist road runs rather than efficient running costs I would prefer the quality second hand set. However Im rolling on the ATR's which came with the rims so yeah...
  24. best be selling the r32 if you don't want any worries.
  25. had my 10yr reunion just last weekend. Was interesting, bit of a pissing contest from everyone. All the tradies wanted to know how to get into the mines, whereas all the corporate café latte drinkers felt sorry for me lol
