  1. lol random, I organised a formal run on sau back in good ol' 2005. Had 4 friendly Sau members help me and my friends out and no there wasnt any stupid revving + bov's going off lol

    Spotted a blue R34 GTR with rego plates "V34GTR" cutting the wellington rd traffic by taking the service lane on the side and merging at the very end. Dont cut through the traffic, wait in line like the rest of us, you flamin mongrel
  3. if you got it, flaunt it A tip for others, the spoiler is triggered by the handbrake light on the dash. So if u put the handbrake up one click, then you will have permanent spoiler down Although the pop-up feature has saved me plenty of time from damaging it on kerbs when parking

  5. the camera is the black slits at the bottom i think. Some precision laser to pick up speed etc.

    what year is the rb20 gearbox? Who rebuilt it? What was replaced? Reason for sale? What car was it in for the 6000km? How was it treated in the 6000km? cheers
  9. jeez you just had another thread asking why your car cuts out when doing 180degree turns. Sounds like your car's getting a nice thrashing... Put it in neutral, rev to 4000rpm, and shift it into drive and floor it. You'll get smoke coming from somewhere but cant guarantee it will be your tyres *note; dont try this lol

  11. yeah im thinking its my o2 sensor. When i rev in neutral the o2 voltage doesnt fluctuate. It just stays at a constant voltage. Although ive heard that o2 sensor doesnt affect the car on full throttle so wouldnt make it run rich? I'll get the o2 sensor replaced anyways, cause its the only thing which has been changed since last dyno...
  12. when i was at driver dynamics defensive driving. We were given a chance to spin our car 180degree's on wet vinyl. My car shut off also, clutch was all the way in too. Ive heard from others that this happens to them too. I dont think its fuel pump mounting/life related, its something else.

  15. hmm you could be onto something. It could be a result to the problem with my car. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Lu...90#entry4195890 As the car was left to idle before it got onto the dyno it was starting to miss, guess it might have been on safe map as it was run on the dyno?

  17. Hey all, Couple of months ago, i had my car dyno'd and got around 157.3kw atw, with afr around the 11-12 mark. Mods; - batmbl front/dump - xforce hiflow cat - apexi catback - ARC 110mm SMIC - Standard boost - leaking to about 12.5psi~ - Splitfire coilpacks (here is a dyno scan of 150.3kw, dont have a copy of the 157.3kw run which included a new dump/front + cat) Had another dyno run today at Swinburn Tafe and confused about the results.. *note; when the car was on the rollers, it was vibrating real badly too, he suggested it may have not been tied down properly or something.. The differences between last dyno and this one; - New O2 sensor - Installed a socket into my ecu for future remapping. (Standard chip in ecu, just installed a socket and plugged standard chip back into ecu) For the past 2 years all my dyno runs have had an AFR reading of 11-12.. Why has it dropped all the way down to 10 resulting in a large loss of power Thanks Patrick
  18. the r32/r33 front/dump pipe are interchangeable. The r34 front/dump pipe is different to the r33/r32

  23. I have a piece of a compressor wheel from a rb20 turbo which blew out of my friends exhaust. He blocked off his bov and was running 14psi.. Whether it was the blocked bov or the 14psi, i still have a cool looking piece of ceramic
  24. Ive got a GTR fuel pump, and dyno runs show there are no signs of any leaning out etc. Would a faulty cas make the ignition timing fluctuate which then affects the idle? This only happens once ive started the car after 5mins of turning it off. Then, once i hit the first set of traffic lights and idle, the rpm's start fluctuating.. After i move off and continue driving, the problem doesn't occur again..
  25. update; during the dodgy idling, my igntion timing fluctuates from 13-15 degrees. Each time it drops to 13/14 is when the car starts acting all funny, and then goes back up to 15 where it calms down.. Is this a faulty CAS?
