reason why the rear speakers dont work is because you have an aftermarket headunit. Under the parcel shelf is a standard silver amplifier which connects to the rear speakers. This amp is only turned on by the stock headunit. ended up speaking to Vicroads in Oakleigh. The inspector told me to go to East Burwood Vicroads and speak to one of the people "upstairs" at the place... Went to Obrian windows which said they can fix the crack. $100 + 30mins later, stone chip has disappeared. What they do is make a vacuum in the crack and inject it with plastic. There is a small spot left behind (like a water spot) but barely noticeable. Beats paying $600-$800 for a brand new antenna windscreen Cheers

mm would have prefered the rock to smack the paint work instead. Windscreen is just troublesome, especially with the r32's which have an inbuilt antenna in the front window ($$$) Gonna go speak to Obrian and ill drop by vicroads and have a chat there too. There goes my studying for today ~_~

Hey, Was driving on the monash freeway today (8:30am), just before the Springvale rd exit. Construction is happening between that area and roads are limited to 80km/h. With all the rutts in the road etc, a rock got flicked up and smacked into my windscreen. I now have a lovely stone chip 1-2cm in my wind screen... Is there any way Vicroads will cover for the cost of the window? There were no signs showing loose stones and it seems to be caused due to their negligence. I have heard of people being compensated for damaging rims in pot holes etc, but what about windsheilds? Sigh... Thanks for help

Some r32's came from factory with an automatic front spoiler. View the vid below of my car; You can get aftermarket lips for your front bar (depending which front bar your car has) Although they are made of fibreglass and you will destroy them when you clip a kerb

Does it look similar to my problem? I took it to Protech carcare, which used some solvent which removed the obvious colouring but it was still there, especially when sun reflect off it. Final Inspection says they can remove it, I think they mentioned polishing the windows.

before i got my r32, i always wanted a black jap-spec n14 SSS. They looked so nice, pretty expensive too. They were selling same price as r32's!

AW11 MR2!! rwd, midrear engine, lightweight! Get an NA or Supercharged model. Although they damn rare and parts arent real common haha

Parked close to a red R31 GTS with white rims at Monash University Clayton Engineering Carpark. Had a sticker on the rear window advertising Skyline National's in sheperton. You on sau too?

Put a deposit on a r32 gtst, took it for a pre-inspection to EAS, motor was on its last legs, returned it and eventually got my deposit back after a couple of months. Was notified by friend who told me that they pulled out the engine and dropped in a rb25 after i gave them the pre-inspection results... Although my friend got a good condition r32 from them I guess it just comes down to the luck of the draw

haha well i set the fan onto max and i heard something fly from the left side to the right side behind the dash. Most likely the plastic bit was causing the ticking sound. The sound is gone now, hopefully the plastic bit can come out from the feet air vents

lol i was thinking it could be that too.. For the people who didnt see the other thread, when removing demister airvents a bit of plastic snapped off and fell down the hole ~_~

Hey, I was driving my car (r32 gtst) had to several times turn on the demisters for the front window to stop them from fogging up. I now hear a loud clicking/ticking sound right under the glove box each time i turn on the fan or ac.. When i turn it off, the noise goes away.. Does anyone know what that sound could be? How to fix? and how much? Thanks Patrick
