  1. hehe i have the same pads and had some bad squealing at first. Did 6x 110-70km/h hard stops on the freeway and then a 30minute cooldown drive without touching the brakes. This reduced the squealing by a lot but still squealed. Took car to Traction Tyres and they added some anti-squeal, lightly sanded the rotors. This got rid of the sound for a couple of days, but usually comes back when doing very light braking. Let us know if you fix the remaining squeal P.S; from what ive been told, the rotors should be machined when putitng in the new pads, as my rotors were brand new I did not need to machine them
  2. okay cool, ill hold out for SK's bilstein/whiteline suspension. Thanks
  3. Are these better than the bilstein/whiteline shock kit from SK?

  14. sound doesnt worry me, i was more concerned about the less response in the lower rev range, but im used to it now hehe
  15. edit: Well took my car back to the mechanic to re-check the gaskets, they checked the gaskets and said everything was fine.. I guess its normal then? cheers
  16. haha ofcourse, 12 nice holes in the bootlid, not to mention the other 3 from the original spoiler. Only option would be to replace bootlid, as the holes are too close to each other to weld. Will warp the bootlid. Ive got a spare bootlid sitting in the garage waiting to be painted
  17. gt wings are connected onto brackets on the boot lid. Held on by a couple of screws. Problem with gt wings are that you will need to create 12~ holes in the bootlid..
  18. i stated above the front/rear diametre Rotor Size: R32 GTS-t/ Front= 280mm Rear=297mm R33 GTS-t/ Front= 296mm, Rear= 297mm
  19. haha cheers all, ended up doing gokarting in the wet last night which ended up with all of us being covered, head to toe, in mud. The goggles kept fogging up and without them you got a nice face full of dirt (i think i still have dirt in my teeth lol) Linking up corners with drifting was fun but not when you understeer 80km/h into a tyre wall haha twas a good night thanks all
  20. yeah pretty sure they are defectable. Vicroads didnt allow me to register the car with the wing (came from japan with the wing) Had to even remove the gt brackets off the bootlid as they can cause harm to someone rolling over my car? Although i dont think the person flying over my car will be concerned about 2 small gt brackets lol
  21. eh? r32 owners usually upgrade to r33 brakes as they are larger... Rotor Size: R32 GTS-t/ F= 280mm R=297mm R33 GTS-t/ F= 296mm, R= 297mm http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rd...Gr-t200718.html
  22. lol this kent, thanks michelle, luv u long time cant wait for saturday night (gokarting + bbq/grog)
  23. nice banners, but the new gtr isnt refered to as a skyline, so it sorta doesn't match? Although evo's don't match in a skyline club but there seem to be plenty around
  24. Hey, Noticed recently a creaking sound coming from the front left wheel when taking any speed humps/dips in the road. When the weather is under 15degree's i get a loud scrubbing/creaking sound when i go up a hump or hit a dip etc. After 15degs its usually quiet unless i take a larger bump at faster speed etc. If the steering wheel is turned to the right and i take a bump etc the sound seems to be there regardless of weather temperature. This never happened before and just popped out of the blue. It sounded like tyre scrubbing so i swapped to stock wheels but the sound is still there. Took the car to suspension place and got all my adjustable bushes re greased along with a wheel alignment. The problem is still there... I currently have second hand KYB shocks with HKS springs. Would this be my front left shock absorber creating the noise? Any help will be great Thanks
  25. i had similar problem when i took roundabouts too quick. Turn the car left/right quickly whilst driving, see if the light turns on. My problem was low brake fluid, topped it up and no more handbrake light
