Spotted silver r33 with purple decals on the side? sau-vic sticker Was at 8:30am turning onto westal road from princes hwy
  2. You could talk to Jaycar about sound deadening. They have plenty of materials; http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AX...=&SUBCATID= Never given it a try though, let us know how it goes
  3. perhaps, but its 15year old cardboard plank pretending to be a parcelshelf. Thicker parcel shelf will create a better noise; cheap and effective
  4. Someone made this, and had it for sale not too long ago on SAU.
  5. Shove a crowbar under the rear seats. Pry up to pop them out, pull out the seats. Then there will be two bolts for the back rest of the rear seats. Unbolt them, and slide the back rest up off the hooks supporting the back rest. After that will be shelf, where you can easily slide off Here is my diy shelf for some hints http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bu...lf-t146690.html
  6. cant remember happened a while ago
  7. yeah some noob clipped me at parking spot too. Rear corner of car, across the rear bar and quarter panel. Sux teh big one lol
  8. the fuel adjuster is like an SAFC, although it has a lot more load points, meaning it can be tuned very well (although it will take much longer to tune = $$) In regards to who can tune it, i havent looked into that yet, I think Dr.Drift can tune them? Max boost on stock r33 turbo is debatable, plenty of threads on sau. I think the limit is about 10-12psi?
  9. Sorry no longer for sale
  10. Front/dump pipe from JJR; $200~ JayCar Digital Fuel adjuster; http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC...=&SUBCATID= $80 JayCar Independent Electronic Boost Controller; http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC...=&SUBCATID= $80 JayCar Hand Controller; http://jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=KC...=&SUBCATID= $60 Thats about $420 for parts. Then spend the rest for assembly/installation/tuning And for all the people worried about heat stroke, you can always buy an intercooler water spray kit. http://mearcat.com.au/kits.html
  11. To the thread starter; It depends what will the car be used for more; Track or Daily; Where the R32 lacks in strength/power it makes up in cheap/available parts; - Purchase car; - R32: $8000-$11000 - R33: $10,000+ - You kill the engine on the track? - R32: Buy a $400 replacement or $1000 rebuilt engine (search ns.com forsale) - R33: Buy a $2000 second hand rb25 - You kill the gearbox? - R32: Buy a $300 second hand gearbox OR fully rebuild rb20 gearbox $900 (http://www.japanesegearbox.com.au/) - R33: Buy a second hand rb25 gearbox $1500 - Kill the turbo? - R32: Just buy a r33 turbo and gain more power - R33: Sounds like a good time to upgrade = $$ - Need larger injectors? - R32: Purchase second hand r34 GTR injectors for $300 - R33: Keep current or upgrade to aftermarket - Larger exhaust? - R32/R33 share same front/dump pipe so plenty parts avail So best case you could do is; Pick up a $8000 R32; replace the engine and gearbox for $2000~(parts) and should last for a long time with no hassles. The r32 is older and no doubt has more little problems than the r33. if you are only after a daily, then go for a stock r33 as there will be less things to be fixed But if you are keen on track, then i reckon the r32 will be a cheaper/fun car as parts are cheap and unwanted unlike r33 parts. So the more people who dont like the r32 = more cheaper parts for me Hope that helps - Patrick
  12. haha +1 for flaking chrome lip, took me ages to find one in decent quality haha Ive always wondered what went through Nissan's mind in regards to the front electric spoiler..does it really do anything? lol my 110mm thick ARC SMIC makes up for the lack of fmic ^^,
  13. thanks for the locatemyphone link. Sounds really interesting
  14. majority of people shave off the Nissan wording on the caliper, this usually gives enough clearance for the rims. id prefer to do that instead of spacers, as spacers are illegal.
  15. haha the reenactment looks like a white 2door r32 with hektic bov sounds
  16. dont you have another turbo to blow through your engine? From: 150,000km r32 owner <3
  17. hey im so gtst, that i wont go FMIC cause then ill need to cut my factory frontbar and lose my GTST electric spoiler GTST 4 lyf
  18. zutututu <3
  19. lol you mean the only thing making both your cars the same is the factory sideskirts and rear pods!? What a coincidence <3
  20. Does it sound like creaking from the front callipers? I could be wrong, but i think its the pins extending more than usual due to worn out pads/rotors. Due to them extending more to apply the same braking pressure I got my rotors/pads replaced and sound is gone. Check your pads if they are low, replace them if so and check if the sound is gone.
  21. haha i know hey, power steering turns into like super power steering after karting haha

  23. My brother might be keen on doing the banner if he has some time. He is currently helping me with recustoms website; Sorry about the watermark but cannot have others stealing the hard work Following on, if any of the executives have a good picture of a skyline, he will be able to vectorize it so it can be stretched to any size (esp a large banner) Also, the SAU logo cant really do good if its a jpg.. Does anyone have a proper vector SAU logo? Cheersu Patrick
  24. haha we'll be seeing about that, might swipe them back off you tomorrow lemans gokarting has $50 special includes 20mins of driving ~ 40 laps on Thursday; starts 6/7pm Why dont we all go gokarting and then have a kebab run afterwards? If not, i might join you guys at 9pm if i finish before then.
  25. yeah i went for a test and noticed that; at 100km/h+ - Clutch pressed whole way in + selected gear (4/5) still has vibrations - Neutral rolling at 100km/h still have vibrations. Does that rule out it is the clutch/flywheel imbalance?
