  1. the meet ended around 12~, a couple of people went to Glen restaurant to eat duck Plenty of people showed up, about 30~ cars including a S-tune r34 GTR. Emsta has the majority of photo's so we'll have to wait until he finishes his duck

  6. Hey, On cold mornings, my power steering was stiff and if it was a hot day the steering was much softer. After discovering a leak in my power steering rack, i replaced the whole steering rack. After I got the rack changed over, i noticed that the power steering was still stiff. As you dry-steer the wheel (turn the wheel left/right) when car is stationary. The steering gets much heavier... Also noticed today that when my car was sitting in the 30degree sunlight, the power steering was really soft (which i liked) Would this be related to a dieing power steering pump? A mechanic suggested that the steering rack i replaced may have contaminated the pump causing it to be stiff the majority of the time. (Had softer steering with my old leaking rack) So does this sound like a dieing steering pump? Thanks
  7. i dont understand why a single person needs to be assigned to a meet position? Cant the regular's just create a meet without passing the idea through a mini-meet executive? edit: i wouldnt mind helping out anyways for the SE side. As im a uni-bum i have plenty of free time

  9. today in 30degree weather, my car's temp with no AC sits at about 84degree's Would that be normal for a r32?
  10. i was hitting 90~ degrees with AC on sitting in traffic. Whilst driving with ac on it sits at about 88degrees AC off my car was sitting on around 82degrees Im suspecting the AC with r134a gas conversion might be creating more heat in my car

  16. Item: Customized R34 Sidemount Intercooler to fit r32 Condition: Great condition, no leaks Price: $250 $220 + delivery To Fit: r32 gtst Location: Ferntree Gully, Victoria Contact: PM or reply in thread Comments: Reason for sale; upgraded to an ARC SMIC Up for sale is my R34 SMIC which has been professionally customized to fit r32 gtst. Basically a direct bolt-on, just remove your standard smic and bolt it on! Being 54% larger than the R32 smic and rated to about 220kw atw; the smic is a low cost, great upgrade to any r32. Advantages; - No turbo lag caused from a large FMIC, throttle response is exactly the same! - Sits in the same place your standard SMIC is, forcing air through the intercooler. - No hole cutting for intercooler piping, making it a legal modification for your car. - No cop attention, hidden away and no troubles when running an airpod - No intercooler blocking radiator or any messing frontbar customization to make it fit. Results; To eliminate any variables, Dyno run was done before SMIC install and straight after SMIC install. *cannot guarantee you will get the same power increase, although another person who did the same modification also had a power increase of 10kw atw Pictures: Any questions feel free to post Cheers Patrick
  17. an auto-electrician told me that most dry-cell batteries have a high CCA rating, but thats usually for only the first 15seconds. After that the CCA drops to a lower number. I was advised that a heavy duty wetcell battery would be better and cheaper as it holds a higher average CCA. Any truth to the above statement?
  18. i got the m80au from Stylyn. Awesome work and considering all the work he does to hide the alarm, its worth the labor cost. The ultrasonic sensors are small sender/receiver located at the very top corners of the windscreen. Barely even notice them. Stylyn recommended them because if you have window tint and someone hits your window the window wont shatter. Possibly not activating the glass break sensor (m80G). The ultrasonic sensors detect any movement inside the car so it will detect the window falling in etc. Also you can leave your window down when you're at the petrol station and still arm your car knowing that its safe
  19. Thursday and Saturday sound good to me. Wouldnt mind a carwash on Thursday night In regards to pool; wont it be too full for a convey of skylines to find parking? I remember Princes pool being packed during saturday nights, not sure if its the same as Fast Eddies

  21. +1 for traction tyres! http://tractiontyres.com.au/ They have done all my suspension, tyre installations/fitting. Just tell them to be extra careful with the rims
  22. they look like URAS NS-01 or Koya Driftek. What is the offset + width of the rims? The URAS had limited sizes available, whereas the koya's had more options of different width/offsets. Koya have recently released a 18inch design www.autoshop.com.au
