  1. It's no trade price, but sau-vic members have 10% off parts at Nissan Dealer. Have a read; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Me...-S-t175031.html
  2. an update on my problem, my mechanic got the tailshaft balanced to see if that will resolve the problem. They said it was slightly unbalanced and re-balanced it. The vibration has mostly gone away, not as bad as before, but its still present at 100km/h+ My mechanic suspects its the tyres, will try swapping with another set of wheels to see if this fixes the problem. However, if the vibration was slightly fixed with the tailshaft balance, doesnt that mean there is more of a chance of vibration in the drivetrain rather than the tyres causing the problem? cheers
  3. Parking was a bloody pain on Sunday at 1pm~. Exhibition parking was full, along with several crown sections. Was a standstill outside the exhibition centre. Just be sure to plan a proper place to park in crown, or you'll be stuck in traffic for 30mins+ lol
  4. is it? i remember someone with a stock r33 got lower, meh could be wrong edit: im finding some values of 130kw, so if we throw in an auto transmission it could drop to 120~kw that sounds like a reasonable coverup? So whats the deal with the raffles? I remember last year there were raffle prizes
  5. r33 gtst's dead stock make 120kw~ atw, you sure your N/A would be pulling 115kw atw?

    Car Alarms

+1 for that. Gotta love the ultrasonic sensors
  16. the majority of intercoolers need a hole cut under the battery tray to pass the piping through. This is illegal and (according to law) affects the structural integrity of the car, if police find the hole, it will be a costly to fix. (lets hope you dont live around Knox area ) Companies such as Blitz, ARC etc produce return feed intercooler's which use the same piping holes as your standard SMIC, so all legal Expect to pay $800+ for these branded intercoolers. Or you can either buy a R34 SMIC customized to r32 or find a ARC SMIC. I have a r34 smic customized for r32 for sale, pm sent if interested Cheers
  17. any troubles with scrubbing? when hitting a pot hole etc? guess it comes down to your suspension setting...
  18. sorta true, i paid more and went for Uras NS-01's
  19. man the roads were awesome today!!, full opposite lock and arm out the window! If only i had my helmet to hold out the window like all the d1 drifters! seriously though, the roads were slipperly today especially in the morning. With the water picking up all the dust/oil + 8am peakhour and everyone still half a sleep on the roads, its just asking for trouble
  20. best place to go would be http://www.finalinspection.com.au/ and sau-vic members get discount on services. If looking for a SE place, you could try http://www.protechcarcare.com.au/

    New P-plate Laws

suggestion i have for the oral presentation, is to choose a subject and a viewpoint the teacher will like. Afterall she is the one grading/marking you and if you present a point which he/she is stubborn on then they will most likely ask you hard questions and try and force their point of view towards you. I remember my friend doing an oral presentation about Speed not killing people, but improper education. Teacher disagreed with his view and was a bitch to him lol But i guess it comes down to your teacher and if he/she has an open mind outside the mainstream issues. Choose something the teacher likes and you should be able to pull maximum points that way
  23. This is a theoretical calculation using the r32's gear ratio/diff ratio's. Although no doubt wind, inclination of road, resistance will affect the actual speed someone will have to double check the rpm at 100km/h on 4th gear though
  24. its to house a pod filter, you will have to cut a hole on the left to pass the pod filter through. The box is mounted between the pod and the AFM. It should pretty much fit straight on as it was designed for it. If you live around Knox, i can happily meet up and show/explain it to ya
  25. Series 2 (1992-1993) r32 interior; the Series 2 R32 is also heavier which makes it P-Plate legal. 1988-1991 r32's have less weight and are over the p:w ratio The turbo kit on the r33 gts sounds like a hassle and a waste of cash, esp when r33 gtst's are already around the low teens. Dont base your decision on skylines on their age/km's, more so on their condition and how well they have been maintained.
