  1. They are predicting now that Thursday will be rain free The Highstreet/stud rd sounds like a good choice (most likely cause i only live 5mins away ) Although its a bit far for the Dande, Noblepark, Rowville etc SE residents... Which place is everyone keen on going to?
  2. anyone know what the factory 100km service includes? Ive got a sticker with a written km reading on it next to the 100km reminder sticker. Just want to know what has been changed during service
  3. ---------- Edit: For people interested on Thursday Time: Thurday 8:30pm (not finalized; could be earlier/later depending what people want) Location:BP Petrol station on the intersection of High Street Rd and Stud Rd --------------- As per other post; Recustoms is having a dyno day this friday. Anyone interested in a carwash meet wednesday/thursday? Most likely 8pm+ so we can use buckets without disturbing people. Anyone have any suggestions of a large carwash which is usually empty and located somewhere in the south-east? Cheers
  4. try a $14 Pedders Suspension & Steering check. Tell them about the binding issue, and they will take note of it during their testing. http://www.pedders.com.au/products/54
  5. my alarm installer didnt want to install the piezo until i learnt how to use my new alarm. Cause every time id turn the key when it immobilized id get a ear-full and end up complaining to him to remove it
  6. you could always re-trim your r32 dash refer to pics here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...amp;hl=r32+dash
  7. yeah, what ive noticed with a lot of clear indicators,is they turn yellow when exposed to a lot of sunlight. I guess you could use a plastic polisher from meguires and see if that clears them up. R33's have similar problem of getting yellow headlights because they are made of plastic whilst the r32 headlights are glass Ive seen indicators which are cheese yellow, cant even see through them haha
  8. not sure, ill be making mine this weekend, ill most likely just throw on a removable lid.
  9. from my experience, not worth buying a ready-made box, cause most chances it wont fit as everyone has a different setup. Easy enough to make your own one; - Use cardboard to make a template, and then cut it out onto plastic/metal Here's a picture i found for a r32 gtst
  10. I reckon the chances of getting caught for driving r32 during the sau cruises is pretty slim. If i was a cop and saw a horde of skyline cruisers, id go after all the 300kw+ skylines
  11. sounds very good! cant wait ^^, Will the consult LCD feature the double connector on the data cable? ie; so i can use the cable to connect to my PDA along with the lcd display (i think this was done in your previous version)
  12. couple of my friends stock r33 gtst's (with catback) pulled around the 130kw atw Once you put on turbo-back exhaust, it will jump to about 150-160kw atw(based on my other friends results )
  13. ill take fm converter if Nick drops out
  14. thats quite expensive in my opinion. Mongoose M80 can be upgraded to microwave/ultrasonic sensors for extra $50-$100 dollars The mongoose M80 remote can control if you want the microwave/ultrasonic sensor turned off when arming the alarm (i think you press button 1 to lock and then press button 2 on the remote straight after to disable the sensor) The mongoose m80 microwave sensor will do a soft alarm chirp if someone tries to look through window. Speak to Chris Rogers on the forums in regards to how effective the microwave sensor is.

  16. if you're referring to the handbrake boot install; just unscrew the screws on the side of the centre console and pull it up.
  17. thats not bad at all, thats $80 for just the handle ye? I saw you mentioned $80 for handbrake in a previous post, im guessing thats the handbrake boot itself? Can i drop off my car and he removes and retrim the handle? Or do i have to remove it etc. Will he do a small job ie. just the handle? cheers
  18. how much to retrim the handle on the handbrake? looks real nice
  19. the r33 and r32 outlet pipe are in different places. Here is a picture of a R34 SMIC which bolts directly onto r33. The outlet pipe needs to be moved to the other side if it will be placed on a R32. Judging by the pictures you supplied, it looks like its made for a r32 as it looks similar to my customized r34 smic Can you please supply dimensions; Width, Height, Thickness and any model number imprinted on the ARC plate. Thanks
  20. all r32 wheels look like they've been chewed by a dog haha. These threads might help http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/In...hl=retrim+wheel http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Up...hl=retrim+wheel expect to pay around $400~
  21. Being a huge fan of Total Annihilation (all you old school gamers should know this game ) i finally played a bit of Supreme Commander. Damn it eats a lot of cpu resources, quite a fun game
  22. the wet corner was interesting, the one where you had to accelerate on the turn. 3 out of the 4 attempts i had, my r32 gtst(rear wheel drive), under steered and went straight instead of the back stepping out... Frightened me a bit because on my first attempt the back did step out, and on the second/3rd/4th it under steered me straight into the rumple strips lol I think the instructor put it down to the increased rainfall during the 2nd/3rd/4th run causing the front tyres to lose more traction than the rears?
  23. awesome event Kev. Real good value for money! Was also great to meet so many people from different car clubs. cheers
