  1. dont reo bars usually get chopped to fit intercoolers? seeing as his car is NA i doubt someone tried fitting in a intercooler Bad luck mate, luckily you're alright. Can we see pics of the audi?
  2. love the photoshop although just one slight problem. That GTR badge logo isnt the same as the new GTR badge
  3. According to Wheels Car magazine (November issue), we have only extracted just over 50% of oil in the world. In the calculations of the article, we cannot burn all oil in the world as this will create far too much co2 emissions, therefore alternative energy vehicles will be in full force before we will drain all the oil in the world.
  4. From my research; R34 Length: 205mm Height: 220mm Width: 80mm Volume: 3608cm^3
  5. how about these cubes? i stumbled across them on youtube and look pretty http://prosportgauges.com/premium.php Im waiting for them to release degree Celcius before i purchase them
  6. thanks for that CeJay, hopefully they will fit
  7. when i went to vicroads, they came outside, checked the vin plate, compliance plate and also checked the tyres, if they matched the same tyres stated on the Consumer Information Notice. Had to go back to compliancer and get the stockies put on for them to pass me. They also disapproved of my GT-Wing brackets saying they are dangerous if you hit a passenger (im sure by the time the passenger reaches the boot of the car, they will not be worrying about gt-brackets) Removed them in the vic-roads carpark and then cleared the car. Thats because i ended up with a grumpy old inspector from burwood vicroads, also tried to give me standard issue plates when i paid for slim-lines and wasnt accepting the purchase price asking me for its actual value..
  8. Hey, Was wondering if the r32 sedan back support of the rear seats will fit a r32 coupe? The bottom part wont fit due to the hooks being too far apart from the holes on the bottom. Are the sedan back support too wide for the rear? I want the arm rest thingi which the sedans have built into their seats Thanks
  9. bummer didnt know you existed when i was browsing around dealers for my car (1 year ago) Ended up wasting my time at JS*A and other dodgy dealers with their flashy advertisments.
  10. those measurements can only be obtained from adjustable bushes. There is no adjustment in standard parts except toe i think. So in a wheel alignment they can only change the toe angle.
  11. if you have replaced all the suspension setup with adjustable, might be best to follow SydneyKids recom;
  12. there's a group buy already for intake pipes; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t1...43#entry3429743

  19. Hrmmm, it looks the same? can anyone verify? R32 rack R33 series 1 rack R33 series 2 rack
  20. There are 2 different models of rb20 compressors (wouldnt have a clue how they differ) They both are R12 gas and you'll need to convert the system to R134a if you want to regass it. (aircon mechs do this for a small price, they replace some seals or something cant remember) R134a is not as cold as R12, so your rb20 compressor will need more effort to produce same coldness. R33 compressor would most likely be r134a which would be more efficient than a r32 r12 compressor running on r134a gas
  21. Hey, Found out my R32 gtst steering rack is leaking and was thinking of what to do next. I can either get it rebuilt for $500 or purchase a 2nd hand one and replace it. Was wondering if the r33 gtst steering rack is exactly the same as the r32 gtst? The r33 rack would be newer than the r32 and possibly have less wear to it, so may be the best choice. Also, ive noticed that when i turn the steering wheel just past the freeplay point, i get some sort of motor grinding noise coming from the shaft of the steering wheel. Would this be related to the leaking steering rack? My steering also gets stiff on cold and loose when weather is hot. Thanks
  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HICAS HICAS tilts the rear wheels a couple of degree's when travelling at speeds above 80km/h for better handling (this can be debatable) Dont get it confused with other 4wheel steers (such as on preludes) which are used as parking aids.
  23. ive heard that some series 1 R33's came with series 2 motors. Hence why the coilpacks wont fit as you're trying to place series1 coilpacks into a series 2 engine. Not sure if im correct about that, someone with a r33 should be able to clarify it.
  24. when i was browsing around, he didnt approach me until he saw me with my dad. Let me test-drive r32's and was happy to take car to any mechanic for a pre-inspection. Although one problem i had was he listed a car as 1993 when it was a October 1992. May not be a big deal but i wanted a genuine 1993 model.
