If you are referring to a R33 GTS, then disregard my post but the 1991-1993 R32 Gts-t is P-Plate legal under the current p/w ratio. Although once these new laws come out, no doubt it will be a tough time explaining it to police that yes its turbo but legal for current P-Platers lol. Prolly give me a defect for proving him wrong haha Although if you are happy then enjoy without the added stress

Ive read somewhere that they wont fit. The r32 seats are shorter than the sedan (i think) Do not take my word until someone clarifies it. Hope it helps

i dont think a cop would pull you over to do a power/weight check for a ute lol Its a work car and he would most likely understand and not bother. I think they will only check if some kid was behind the wheel of a 4wd etc

before it was just a small fine and no demerit points i think. Vicroads probably saw that the previous fine didnt stop people so put in demerit points...

This should stop all the pointless rumors floating around --------------------------------------------------- From 1 July 2007, new laws will be introduced for holders of a probationary licence, restricting them from driving a high powered vehicle. A driver who obtains their probationary licence from 1 July 2007 will not be able to drive a vehicle that has: * eight or more cylinders; * a turbocharged or supercharged engine (except diesel powered); * an engine that has been modified to increase the vehicles performance; or * is a nominated high performance six cylinder car. cutting the metal of the parcel shelf is a defect. If a cop catches you, might have some trouble fixing it back up....

It sounds like the climate control thinks its very cold and always blowing hot air? Could have a faulty temp sensor. There is a temp sensor to the right of the ash tray. Its like three small slits. Thats a common sensor which detaches/faulty. Also sounds like your mode door actuator may be stuffed. Hence not swapping from demister. Run the diag as explained in the pic below to see if the temp shows odd numbers. Hope this all helps. - Patrick

Thanks for the link wes81! Interloper, they have a big sign on their workshop saying they specialize in GTR, WRX and all Japanese vehicles lol. Only saw 4WD's though..only went to them for a quote+free drive test. Might give them a miss as they didnt seem dedicated to japanese cars. I guess they needed to fill a blank wall on their workshop with some writing

Got a quote from All Wheel Drive Gearbox Reconditioners; ------------------------------------------------- - Remove & Replace gearbox - $400 - Bearings and seals - $1200 Strip clean and inspect gearbox Remove and replace bearings and seals Re-assemble Any Required parts (syncro etc) no labour incurred Syncro's (if needed) are $500~ from Nissan, so looking at $2100 total? ------------------------------------------------- Will drop by 360gearbox tomorrow and see what they have to say... plenty of threads about it. Common signs are; - 4pot brakes on the front (just look for larger brakes on the front wheels) - Digital Climate control - Electronic front spoiler TypeM was just an optional feature pack from Nissan when buying a r32. A lot of dealers had different optional extra's in their 'TypeM' package, hence they all different. Ive noticed, that the majority of 1993 R32's do not come with the 'TypeM' bodykit but are TypeM. So dont judge the type of r32 by its bodykit as its all mix and match. Hope that helps.

Perhaps he may have used the same law in regards to bullbars on uts/4wds? I think when bullbars are installed on car it is somehow mounted to activate airbags in case of an accident? Although i could be wrong... Hope you get it cleared without any probs
