Was browsing through the workshop manual for the R32 and stumbled across a couple of Diag tests at the end of the manual. Although they are stated to be relevant to the RB25DE R32 im sure the same can be applied to any R32 model. As the info is in the official workshop manual, would Nissan Australia be able to fix the problems by referring to their guide? and Hope this helps to solve our problem - Patrick

He said that he set the hot/cold flap to Cold setting manually. The climate control controls a motor (blend door servo motor) which moves the flap from cold to hot. He said that the motor is dead and that i should find a 2nd hand one to replace it with, in order to have control of temperatures again. The funny part is that the AC Diag should come up with error 26-blend door motor, but it doesnt...

My gearbox had bad syncro problems, I used Redline and fixed it perfectly. Although the problem has come back and its been only 10,000km. Does that mean redline wont even fix my problem now? Thanks

Save your self some more money and buy a decent R32/R33. I bought mine for $13k and it had its fair share of problems in the first couple of months. I'd hate to see what an $8k r32 problems are... Every R32/R33/import car needs some work done on it, so unless you have any emergency money ontop of the $8k you might end up in trouble. Andru's car was tuned and dyno'd by ReCustoms, 1 week before the SAU Vic Dyno Day. Dyno had not been changed during that time, as my dyno results were the same 2 weeks before the event. Although my r32 has a bit more power than it should So yeah..

Was good during hot says as its stuck on cold but now I cant set it to Hot on the cold days!

Hey, Have a little issue with my AC in my r32 gtst and hope someone has an answer. When i got my ac compressor changed+regassed, the mechanic said that my blend door servo motor is dead. Therefore i cannot control the temps of the ac. He set it manually to cold so I just get cold air coming out regardless of Temp on climate control. I went into AC diagnostic mode, and went through all the steps and no error came up for a dead blend door motor. ( I think the number is 26 ). So what exactly is my problem? If it was a dead blend door motor it should have registered on the diag test mode on the climate control... Cheers Patrick

Arent CF bonnets legal for cars before 1993? There was a discussion on SAU a while ago about this. Which meant that r32's where able to have CF bonnets. If in doubt, just keep your old bonnet and just swap over if you get defected?

odd..my experience at Traction Tyres was great. They had a seperate person specialised in brakes/rotors and we discussed the various pads/rotors for my style of driving. Fixed my vibration at 100km/h and was always happy to answer any of my questions about suspensions/brakes. Traction Tyres(rowville) ftw

Traction Tyres at Rowville. Been there for a wheel alignment/balance. They know their imports and have set up plenty of suspension for rally/track cars. I think they also recommended by SydneyKid (who sells the whiteline package) so they know their stuff Cheers

Dont trust burwood, thats where I got my car registered. Some old fat bloke was giving me a hard time, as my RWC cert had stock rims written and I had 17's on. He said the tyre brand didnt match the RWC ~_~..Also had to remove the GT wing brackets off the bootlid. A person would have to roll over the whole car to touch the brackets, and im sure there is already enough damage caused.... Although this wouldnt have been a problem if we all just upgraded our smics, like i did XD~
