There is little difference in price wise between importing and caryard imo. Importing says $11k~ for a r32 and most dealers sell at 11-13k. Although with dealer you can test drive, take pre-inspection, haggle free warranty/rego/rwc/lower price and have the car on the roads in a weeks time. As opposed to importing which takes half a year. If you find a decent car at a car yard, there shouldnt be much difference with importing one. I found my car forsale on prestigemotorsport after i purchased it from a compliancer, he only increased price by $1000. cheers

There is a workshop real close to JSA, like 4mins down the road, cant remember its name but they quoted $150~ for a full inspection. Maybe someone living around Bell Street knows the name of the workshop? JSA tends to sell cars a few grand above their average price, but it may have changed now Another helpful tip, never trust the dealers Two dealers told me accident free, but inspection stated otherwise. So dont skimp on the pre-inspection!

ive been to; jsa, sei, ssv, powerroad, glam imports sei and ssv seemed to only have r33's and no r32's so did not have any discussion with them. JSA seemed to offer the most customer service in my opinion. He sent me emails of latest stock, followed by a phone call if anything interested me and what i was after. At one point I asked if he could send me vin numbers of his range so i could check on FAST. He sms'd me the several vin's in less than five minutes after the call. because he knew i was serious in buying, he put the effort to help me look through his range. JSA seems to be one of the only importers which have a large range of r32's if you are looking for one. Glam Imports - (http://www.glamgroups.com.au) has provided an excellent car for my friend but unfortunately I had some issues with them and had to cancel the deposit. They have their own hoist and were happy for me to look under, take to preinspection and test drive. When i told them I didnt want the car(after preinspection results) they refunded the deposit. Powerroad - i think the gunmetal r32 gtst i was just about to buy is still sitting ther, 3+ months ago? Warranty is extra on price of car Which ever dealer you go to, always demand a pre-inspection with an external workshop, usually one recommended on this forum, also indicate in any deposit agreement, that full amount will be refunded if pre-inspection finds anything. They love the cash, even if they say doesnt matter, and flash a cash deposit and they may drop the price down. If you need anymore help just ask edit: in the end i went with a compliance workshop (had car listed as private sale on carsales) who occasionally imported vehicles and i have some issues to discuss with him after purchase of car imo, dealers are looking for maximum profit and most private sellers are trying to sell their problems Regards - Patrick

This thread , http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hl=ssv+princess , has some links to dealers. One which seems to be trusted by most members is SSV on princess highway. Hope it helps

Hey I currently have a Zexel AC Compressor and trying to run it through Nissan FAST to determine if it would match with my car. If anyone knows how to use the parts search tool could you please tell me if the compressor will work with my 1993 r32 nissan skyline. ------------------------- vin: HCR32-297565 compressor: Zexel 92600 05U05 506031 - 0119 Comp type: DCQ-17BE Part No: 506231-0097 Seri. No: 188J 442414 ------------------- When i input '92600' into Part No. Box i get an alternate part number of 27630. Does that mean my car needs a compressor with part number 27630 instead of 92600? Thanks - Patrick

yeah you pop off the horizontal part first, what you sit on, i used a crowbar and you will hear a loud noise. Took me ages to pop it off as i thought id break something. Then there will be 2 screws located holding the vertical part, and finally the hooks at the top

Good afternoon, This is the 37th time I have spoken to you from this office, where so many decisions have been made that shaped the history of this club. Each time I have done so to discuss with you some matter that I believe affected the national interest. In all the decisions I have made in my public life, I have always tried to do what was best for the club. Throughout the long and difficult period, I have felt it was my duty to persevere, to make every possible effort to complete the term of office to which you elected me. In the past few days, however, it has become evident to me that I no longer have a strong enough political base in the club (thanks traitors) to justify continuing that effort. As long as there was such a base, I felt strongly that it was necessary to see the constitutional process through to its conclusion, that to do otherwise would be unfaithful to the spirit of that deliberately difficult process and a dangerously destabilizing precedent for the future. But with the disappearance of that base, I now believe that the constitutional purpose has been served, and there is no longer a need for the process to be prolonged. I would have preferred to carry through to the finish whatever the personal agony it would have involved, and my family unanimously urged me to do so. But the interest of the club must always come before any personal considerations. I have never been a quitter. To leave office before my term is completed is abhorrent to every instinct in my body. But as President, I must put the interest of SAU-VIC first. SAU-VIC needs a full-time President and a full-time Congress, particularly at this time with problems we face at home and abroad. To continue to fight through the months ahead for my personal vindication would almost totally absorb the time and attention of both the President and the Congress in a period when our entire focus should be on the great issues of peace abroad and prosperity without inflation at home. Therefore, I shall resign the Presidency effective at noon tomorrow. Jamezilla (aka James Ward ) will be sworn in as President at that hour in this office. As I recall the high hopes for SAU-VIC with which we began this second term, I feel a great sadness that I will not be here in this office working on your behalf to achieve those hopes in the next years. But in turning over direction of the Government to Jamezilla, I know, as I told the club when I nominated him for that office 10 months ago, that the leadership of SAU-VIC will be in good hands. In passing this office to Jamezilla, I also do so with the profound sense of the weight of responsibility that will fall on his shoulders tomorrow and, therefore, of the understanding, the patience, the cooperation he will need from all sau members. As he assumes that responsibility, he will deserve the help and the support of all of us. As we look to the future, the first essential is to begin healing the wounds of this club, to put the bitterness and divisions of the recent past behind us, and to rediscover those shared ideals that lie at the heart of our strength and unity as a great and as a free people. By taking this action, I hope that I will have hastened the start of that process of healing which is so desperately needed in SAU-VIC. I regret deeply any injuries that may have been done in the course of the events that led to this decision. I would say only that if some of my Judgments were wrong, and some were wrong, they were made in what I believed at the time to be the best interest of the club. To those who have stood with me during these past difficult months days, to my family, my friends, to many others who joined in supporting my cause because they believed it was right, I will be eternally grateful for your support. And to those who have not felt able to give me your support, let me say I leave with no bitterness toward those who have opposed me, because all of us, in the final analysis, have been concerned with the good of the club, however our judgments might differ. So, let us all now join together in affirming that common commitment and in helping our new President succeed for the benefit of all sau-vic members. I shall leave this office with regret at not completing my term, but with gratitude for the privilege of serving as your President for the past years days. These yearsdays have been a momentous time in the history of our club and the world. They have been a time of achievement in which we can all be proud, achievements that represent the shared efforts of the Administration, the Congress, and the people. But the challenges ahead are equally great, and they, too, will require the support and the efforts of the Congress and the people working in cooperation with the new Administration. This, more than anything, is what I hoped to achieve when I sought the Presidency. This, more than anything, is what I hope will be my legacy to you, to our country, as I leave the Presidency. To have served in this office is to have felt a very personal sense of kinship with each and every member. In leaving it, I do so with this prayer: May God's grace be with you in all the days ahead. Regards Patrick
