  1. Just to confirm when i lashed out againts the r33's i wasnt directing any specific comments towards **JaR** or any other burgandy r33 owner. I was mearly referring to the clapped out, rusted, dented r33's which roll around dandenong in their stock form thinking they are king of the road. I live around dande and the amount of these tools hooning around the area is ridiculous. Although if sky high has the same passion and enthusiasm for his car as others displayed on this forum, then the colour/make/model/year shouldn't be an issue as there are plenty of members here with a wide variation of cars. - Patrick
  2. with the reply above, 'sky high' can easily make a decision as to wether purchase a r33 or r32. As stated in his original post, he doesnt "realy care on the power" and was asking if any skyline legal for p-platers. So in conclusion, the r32 is 'crap' enough to suit both your needs As Dezz pointed out, it comes down to your own choice as any model skyline is a good choice
  3. fair enough i lashed out cause im sick of hearing all the slander towards the r32's If the r33's would want to argue at least put some evidence as to why they are crap. I wouldnt have over-reacted if the poster at least stated his reason as to why. The original poster seems to be now deciding over both models and a comment like that wouldnt be helping. So why dont i post a comment worth the exact value as the slander in regards to the r32
  4. comments like these shit me and the amount of slurs coming from r33 owners on this forum suprises me. Not everyone wants to follow the crowd like a tool and buy the cheapest S1 burgandy r33. A big mystery as to why the r33 are dropping price r33's are illegal for p-platers but they still tend to drive them. Although with the new p-plate laws next year the cops may get more strict on the power/weight law. I suggest to look into an r32 if he would like to be legal. Well maintained r32's have been floating around 13-15k dollar value for many years and havent had any major decline as of yet. Good luck in your search - Patrick
  5. Hey, Just found this nasty scratch on my car and have no idea how it happened. Last time i had the car out was on Friday and that was at work... If you run your finger across the scratches you can feel the depth, especially the big blob area. Cant see any paint from any other car on it... Anyone have any idea on how this can be fixed? Thanks - Patrick
  6. More pics
  7. Having only owned my car for a couple of weeks, i took gear 1 and 2 to 5000rpm and i felt something pulling me back at those rpm's when i accelerated quickly. Is this the stuttering people are referring to? Car came with an apexi pod and hope this is the problem? Thanks Patrick

  10. you're just jealous.... that i have an awesomeness chamois
  11. *steps back* Seeing as this isnt the wasteland where we can whore might as well add some information, if any, to this reply. For people who do not know what a chamois looks like I could take some shots of its performance but im not that bored...yet
  12. $3?! we got mr.moneybags in here
  13. hey...nothing wrong with the $2 chamois Synthetic and also "great for car cleaning". Found it in a box on the floor at bunnings warehouse. I use a chamois to soak up the water then wipe away the residue with a microfibre cloth, leaving that dry shiney look
  14. thanks your thread looks like the solution to my problem Where would you buy this diamond polish? and how much? Thanks

Decided to size up the spoiler to see how it would look like As i have my old gt brackets, the inner spoiler was hitting it so had to detach and lift it up a bit. Process of getting another bootlid to swap over and install the new spoiler on
  16. Just washed my car and decided to take some pics
  17. Just used turps on the outside of the window, the residue disappears but then it dries up and its back. Used turps inside and didnt seem to change anything....
  18. what kind of a professional will know how to remove this? Any window tinting place?
  19. Hey, When i first purchased my car, the previous owner in Japan applied some mesh on the black window, like a sunshade mesh probably to protect the interior. Picture your fly screen door in your house but in a material form. As i couldnt see out the mesh in certain angles i decided to peel it off. As i peeled it off tiny blots of glue were left over and i removed most of it by scraping it off and using spirits. Now that i can see out the window, from the outside i can see this weird stain? When i was washing my car, when water is applied on the window you cannot see the stains but then the water rolls off? Im guessing its on the outside of the window... Anyone know what it is and how to remove? as my rear window looks ugly. Thanks - Patrick
  20. Just did the test again and everything is fine. If the motor was dead would it be showing an error code? I get 20 for 1st mode, indicating everything normal, 30 for next mode (as it cycles through vent movement and shows 30 is normal, cycled through 41-47 and felt all air and all temperatures were normal. Havent tried setting temp to hot whilst driving, maybe pushing the flap back to full cold may have got it unstuck and it may be working fine again? Will try next time im driving Hope you can share some knowledge about your AC foznice Thanks - Patrick
  21. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=133299&hl= Used to get 300km before major service + ecu reset. At the moment sitting on half tank indicator with 200km clocked up
  22. In a copy of HPI mag i have (GTR Special no.5) in the section "Buying a gtr" they state that if you have the 100,00km sticker the timing belt has been changed. Although this sticker looks different to yours so meh
  23. looks very nice. My apexi pod location/angle is identical to yours so it should match up fine
  24. Searching ebay there seem to be a few GSM alarms floating around the $260~ mark. Maybe Chris Rogers could indicate which are good and which are rubbish as I am also interested in these alarm systems. One of the more expensive varient is by rhino going for $400~ http://search.ebay.com.au/search/search.dl...title=gsm+alarm - Patrick
  25. After a blend door servo motor, which controls the metal rod which moves depending to the temperature set on the climate control. Located underdash on passenger side for r32 owners. For an r32 gtst Located In Melb, but this motor is small and postage wouldnt be an issue. Hopefully someone could pull it out from their halfcut if they have one - Patrick
