  1. Does anyone know how many bolts there are mounting the gearbox to the engine to remove to replace the clutch on an R33 gearbox ? Removed all visible as well as the one located at about 11 o'clock on the passenger side. Cheers
  2. Hi There How many bolts are there to remove on a R33 gearbox mounting it to the engine please ? Cheers
  3. Is the R33 LSD turbo diff - Offers $300+ still available is so where are you located Gunjack
  4. Thanks Busky2K
  5. Yeah ,I doubled checked to day, I even pulled the injectors out to check and found that all 6 injectors fire simultaneously on all strokes, Just started another thread requesting info on how they are supposed to work ,as I would think that would flood the engine . thanks for the idea though
  6. Thanks for the info blind_elk I'll compare mine to see if they are not too far off yours.
  7. Hi Does anyone know if all six injectors are suppose to fire simultaneously on each stroke or are they supposed to fire individually on each cylinders intake stroke. As I removed the injectors from a RB25DET while fault finding and found that all six fire simultaneously on every stroke, which I expect is causing the engine to flood and therefore not start.I imagine the fuel is just pooling in the manifold until the inlet valves open and then just floods the spark plug. Does anyone know ?As I didn't think it worked like that. Thanks in advanced
  8. Thanks Duncan I'll do a reading and check the actual figures, but what gets me, is that after the rebuild, the car started and ran fine, so I'm not sure if its related to the rebuild or just something else that has decided to fail.Unfortunately the rings didn't occur to me at all when it blew its gasket. I'll let you know when I have some figures. Thanks again
  9. blind_elk Battery is in a charged condition and have compression in all cylinders Cheers Gunjack
  10. Duncan No the rings were not replaced during the procedure Cheers Gunjack
  11. Hi I replaced the head on my nephews car after the head was destroyed by really bad detonation.Once the engine was back together it started and ran fine for a short period then it stopped and has refused to start again since. I have cranked the engine over with the spark plugs out and the spark seems to be very weak, mostly a white to yellow colour, and somtimes its more of a mist looking then a actual spark. I know to test the series 1 coils for a value between .6 and .9 ohms but what do you test the series 2 for, as they have the built in ignitor? Does anyone know what values to test the ignition coils for on a series 2 RB25DET? thanks for any help
