    Thanks Terry and Tim. Appreciate the heads up. Will definitely check out VEK - I have been hearing a lot about them. I read about a few bargins that could be found online - a particular Sidchrome socket set at Repco had a price tag of $300+ and the same set was found online for $190 brand new! So I thought its better to ask around and seek the best deals before spending big dollars.

    Fellas, which websites would provide the best deals on Sidchrome/Kincrome items? Am after a new socket set (a comprehensive one), an air compressor with rattle gun and a few other bits and bobs. Also need a bench top/table

    That was my final option. Got a spring and retainer pin from wrecker. My new issue is that the handbrake wont hook up until the last click. I am guessing its as simple as using a flathead through the hole in the rotor and click click..?

    Great to hear its all fixed. Its good that from posts like these we gain more know-how as to what to look for when these symptoms occur to our cars. Suspected Electrical fault turned out to be FPR. Did you tow the car to JLM? Bet it wasnt cheap
