  1. Yep, seen it as well. Its rarely the case when car enthusiasts dont know each other in such a small place like Fiji. Enjoy your trip mate.
  2. I do hope you see this in person on your travels. NB: This car will always be in Lautoka. Btw, What colour was the '33 you saw?
  3. Thanks mate. Thanks mate. If this thread makes you keep you GTR - then I would definitely be very happy!
  4. F40 > Any other supercar made. Did anyone else come across the option list/pricing for the La-Ferrari that was said to be a hoax?
  5. Thanks for the comments buddy. Always welcome to Fiji! Jash rarely goes outside Lautoka. However, he does have problems waiting for the fuel to arrive. The S-Tunes are definitely not suited for Fijian roads, he drives it on the main roads in and around town. My mates and I run a small online community of motoring enthusiasts on Facebook - and I will get them to get me some photos of roads/cruise pics/events that we organize so I can share them. Yep. 6. Thanks mate. Took it to National Park on my first time out with the car. It goes alright
  7. Thats a very clean ride.
  8. Thanks buddy
  9. Thanks buddy - I'll pass your comments on to Jash. The boys back home would love to show off our rides and see what you all think That driveway was rebuilt in concrete for the GTR. Approach angle in the pic looks far worse then it actually is (pic was taken like that on purpose I think) Mate! Your Fiji born This car is from Lautoka - haha. As I mentioned, this car belongs to a good buddy of mine, Jash. He has owned some pretty awesome cars - WRX STI, Supra, GTR, etc etc.. Ah yes, the lotto - Im also looking forward to that day In all, thanks for all your comments guys - appreciate all the positive comments.
  10. Good to hear you enjoyed There are some great caving spots in the interior of Viti-Levu as well, I'd highly recommend you check it our for your next trip.
  11. Queens Hwy is the 80% coastal - you will go through Villages and main towns on this road. (Suva, Sigatoka, Nadi and Rakiraki are all coastal towns). Kings Hwy will take you through rain forest's (Suva - Rakiraki) - excellent 4WD-ing. That being said, the towns/cities are located not as close to the sea. Rinse, rinse, rinse is always the safest option Been to Fiji, Terry?
  12. Thanks buddy. The roads are pathetic. We have some beautiful coastal scenery but alas, the roads are not up to the task of being worthy for such cars. There are certain pieces of tarmac where the car gets to stretch its legs
  13. I know this is ‘Skylines Australia’ – but I also know that all of us appreciate the legendary Skyline GTR wherever it may be. This thread is an opportunity for me, on behalf of Jash Krishna, to showcase his MINES built and tuned – 2001 R34 GTR V-Spec II . This GTR has been given the complete MINES treatment by its previous owner. It has a Stage 2 MINES Engine (630Hp) and has installed NISMO S-Tune suspension and a Brembo 6 Piston brake package...and so much more. ‘I FLY’ now calls the beautiful Fiji Islands its home. It gets treated very well by Jash and has the upmost respect on our roads. Jash fuels this car with Gull 98 which is specially imported into the country. The car shares its garage currently with a Toyota Supra which was a demo car for Alpine Japan. Fiji might be known to some as one of the friendliest tourist destination spots in the world; however our car culture is starting to emerge with talent attracting international attention. We currently have 3 BNR34, one of which is a Bayside Blue Nur spec. Okay, enough talk – I leave you all with some shots of Jash’s GTR. Hope you all enjoy
  14. Thanks Tez. I have PM'd "Shell" regarding the membership application. Fingers crossed for this event! Will surely be in-line for the July one
  15. Hey all, First up - Im a long time follower and first time writer on this forum. For a very long time, I used to browse SAU and spend countless hours reading posts, build threads and hawking the for sale section in the hope that one day I too will own a skyline. Long story short, my main goal was to own a Skyline before I turned 20 - and well, here I am! I bought myself a R33 GTST with a fair few mods done to it. I am still learning the car and do majority of the work myself. I read up on SAU and then in the weekend, spend time with the car tinkering and doodling about. I am a Fijian and we do love our skylines back home (I will post some pics later on). I am very keen to attend meets and go to as many as I can. I have learnt a lot being on SAU in this short amount of time and I hope I make some good mates along the way. I leave you all with some snaps of my car. Thanks for reading! Vinaka
  16. I am guessing all spots are filled out? Nooo!
  17. Cheers for your input Guys - many thanks. Got a call from TSI for the clutch, very reasonable price if I must say
  18. Taken on Great Western near Erskine Park exit. Pic taken a few weeks ago, thought to share
  19. It is NickM's car
  20. Thanks a lot Terry. I have given them a call for a quote - fingers crossed Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  21. Guys, the person that was supposed to change my clutch today, decided it would be best to change it on Monday. Damn! I know its a long shot, but is there anyone who can recommend/suggest someone who can change the clutch and machine the flywheel TODAY? Im in Blacktown area. If I cant have it changed today, I guess I'll have to live with it - but I would still like details of garages/workshops that have good feedback and dont over-charge. Thanks all
  22. Unique Auto Sports in Seven Hills has a set.
  23. Im a newbie from Blacktown
  24. It gets driven on coastal roads. Owner also has an Alpine Ex-Demo Supra from Japan Full thread being made shortly. Sorry for thread hogging guys.
