Cops don't seem to have a worry about where mine is on pillar down at most furthurest point so doesn't obsure window at all. In saying so it is blocking the demisted for driver window.

As far as I know they are only illegal if obscures your few out the window and I do believe not allowed to be above dash line. Mines mounted on pillar and is spot on in line with the highest point of the dash around dash cluster.

Yeah its 5% ethonal 100 octane. That's why I'm unsure as far as I knew ethanol was no good for nissan prior to 2000.
