  18. Hmmmm, almost sounds normal fuel consumption but in saying so my S1 33 is playing up and chewing 14.2L/100kms went up from 13.8L after a new O2 sensor But if what I hear is correct the 34 engines are meant to be alot for fuel economical then the 33's correct?
  19. Is this issue occuring mostly in first and second gears? Was having the exact same issues in my 94 33 gtst and I was sure i was onlt running 9/10PSI until I went on a dyno, I wound it back about 2Psi down to "8" and the guy said it was doing 10psi on the dyno so it was more like 12psi instead of the 10 i thought. Since then havn't had that issue.
  20. 3000rpm really shouldn't be causeing issues, especially in a 34. General driving I've found my 33 GTST is most fuel economical driving at 3000-3500rpm marks. My Bluebird is similar story and has no issues going well above the 3000rpm mark both cars have 20yr old never rebuilt engines in them. Odd with the fuel smell etc, my 33 is always fuelie but is in desperate need of a tune. Possibly might not hurt to take it to another mechanic just for the sake of a second opinion.
  21. It already is silly it has a a dirty dino push rod engine in it.
