  1. Damn!! How are you guys getting that price? I've been quoted $68
  2. Yer some HKS SSV one. Forgot the name but you're on the right track.
  3. Sorry no pic, but I'm just amazed at what crowd (ricers) the Skyline attracts these days. Kind of sad really.
  4. You wouldn't make it out of your street in Vic.
  5. But the problem is erratic. If it was the tensioner wouldn't it always be causing a whine?
  6. Don't do that That's impossible I just got all of mine changed earlier this year! Are you guys all sure? If you all are you might actually get me to pull apart the cover and check.
  7. I was there when he did the whole job Your car should start to overheat if your waterpump is going, you might notice it leaking as well.
  8. Any way to check this without pulling off the CAS, etc... I haven't been concerned enough to pull part everything to check as I only just got all my belts, tensioners, and idlers replaced recently so I would assume they are still all good.
  9. Never figured what it was but just last week my alternator died. Not sure if that was the cause of the whine because the bearings were still fine.
  10. LOL its now a solid fact. DOSE PULLS CHICKS!!!!111 Everyone bring out your inside muzzaism and dose it lyk its hawt y0!
  11. Nope, have yet to touch a Lancer/Excel and I don't intend to. I mean no offence to you but can I ask why bother with a Lancer. I've just always been curious as to why hektic kents (not saying you are, just saying the majority are) buy Lancers/Excels, rice them up, then go cruising or doing laps down muzza streets. ie Chapz laps y0. No shit, I hate people who don't bother thinking about how the kit fits with their car. It's like they see a hektic kit, lets chuck it on just to be hektic down chapz y0! It's like noobs when designing something just chucking gradients in because it "looks cool" yet it doesn't serve a purpose. If anyone does multimedia at Uni, they will have heard this from their lecturer. They hate it
  12. Yes, clearly that is why I drive a manual! You are such girly man for driving auto!!! As LightAssassin mentioned, us "cavemen" like manual for the driving experience. If I wanted a easy relaxed saggy ride from A to B I take my old man's AUTOMATIC Commonwhore out, which I do when I cbf taking the Skyline out. But seriously your question, what are we gonna do when it's phased out... umm nothing? Also Rezz raised a few points which apply to me.
  13. Glad you're ok! Fkn hate those rich snobs in their 4WDs with a passion. Selfish f**kers think that the world owes them something. f**k off and die already.
  14. oh noes no manual, we will all die a terrible death how about... stick to your autos, woman
  15. LOL!!! Are you serious?
  16. Huh? I just installed my Pioneer deck with no noise or problems at all. Completely new wiring and all. Don't know what you're talking about.
  17. LOL Now that's funny.
  18. I'll be getting metal ones if I can find them because I plan to put them in as "All-Round" and therefore the normal ones wouldn't benefit me as my subframe bushes are probably stuffed after 15+ years of service. But I guess if you're gonna set them up for "Drift" those yellow ones would serve fine. Anyone know who sells alloy pineapples? Can't seem to find anyone with them.
  19. Finally someone that knows what he's talking about. Also if you set it up right, ie use a baffle, it is quite beneficial.
  20. Nope, that's the only box I got under there I guess you've answered my question then, I don't have the stock amp. Thanks Chris
  21. R32, and I do have a box under my parcel shelf, but it's certainly not round. It's a square box with twice as many wires going into one side than out the other side. But yes what you said doesn't sound right to me either. I didn't hook up the power supply to the stock amp so therefore there should be no sound output at all.
  22. Thanks Chris. I'll take a proper look tomorrow but today I just plugged it into the stock plugs and the speakers worked fine. Just wondering if it is in fact still running through a stock amp will it have any effect?
  23. itz so hektic anDroo http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=134392&hl=
  24. Hey guys, I just installed my headunit and front speakers via aftermarket amp and wiring but for the rear speakers I cbf running new wires so I hooked them up to stock wiring. Does anyone know how to do the bypass on the stock amp under the parcel shelf? Like does anyone know which colour wires to cut and join to the other end? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
