  2. STARTS BOOSTING AT 4 GRAND , BUT WILL PULL TOP FROM 1500RPM, IT IS VERTUALLY AS RESPONSIVE AS A STOCK GTR. THIS CAR DOES NOT HAVE A RB 30 BOTTOM END-FAR FROM IT. iT HAS A GENNUINE GIKEN STEEL CRANK & RODS RUNNING IN A GIKEN MODIFIED n1 BLOCK THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO COMPARISON. IF YOU ARE SERIOUSLY INTERESTED, FLY OVER AND SEE HOW IT RUNS, IF YOU ARE DISSAPOINTED I WILL REFUND YOUR EXPENSES.
  3. I ran it once in two wheel drive, this was my fck up, I stalled during the tyre warm up & bump started her, but forgot to reset the 4wd. I 'snaked' the whole lengh of the strip thinking wow that was fast ! unfortunatly it was a flat eleven . We all Know what this car is capable of, especially with some weight removed. The nice thing about this one, is the drysump, correctly used, it make the bottom end bullet proof-rare for an high tune RB.

  5. 1992 Nissan Skyline GTR R32 I have owned this vehicle for about 5 years, I purchased it from Reece McGregor (if you do not know who he is, Google it ) I have spent in excess of $125,000 modifying this vehicle. Absolutely no expense has been spared. It has taken about 3 of those 5 years to get this car absolutely ready to go, it has been careful broken in and only given a reasonable amount of boost on the dyno (1.5 bar) at this time with c16 gas it made 695 hp at the wheels, allowing for the 28% transmission loss (as quoted by the dyno manufacturer) equates to in excess of 975 hp at the flywheel ! she is reduced to approximately 700 hp at 1 bar with 98 RON pump gas.Since re build she has been only been driven by me at 1 bar with the 98 for about 2000ks,it has not been raced in this time, hence I consider it reasonable to describe the engine and trans as nearly new. Although fitted & plumbed, NOS has never been administered. Despite the massive power this engine generates, it is totally tractable and will pull top gear from 1500rpm, the idle is totally stable at around 900. Sadly after all this time, I am over it ! If you are looking for a serious machine, this is it, you may see cars that look as good in Japan THEY WONT BE, generally speaking people sell this caliber of vehicle when it is ready to be rebuilt, and make no mistake, with this type of car this will be quite often ! Before I purchased this car I viewed many hard gtr's in Japan,to say the least, most of them were 'tatty' this 32 is one of the best I have seen, inside and out.   6. Good looking pan, but why not dry sump ? I had a JUN baffle & a Trust sump extension, overkill prehaps but I did a serious launch with a 35k engine & ended up with a blown #6 big end, I spent a fortune rebuilding it , only for the same thing to happen again after the first few hard launches. I am now dry sumping, if you add up the cost of all the wet parts (ie jun pump 15 hundy, baffle 5 hundy, trust extension 5 hundy, welding 2 hundy, ) & compare this with dry sumping it's a joke (ie as new s/h 4 stage weaver pump from ebay 7 hundy new moroso drag tank from summit 7 hundy, plus the cost of all the lines, fittings, and a couple of filters about another 7 hundy, plus modifying the sump pan 7 hundy, & finally a weaver drive kit for 2 hundy) I really wonder why I did not dry sump in the first place ! I would appreciate your comments ?

  11. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is how I see it, if you are lucky enough to have a ten second car & you want to run it at the drags & have it road legal in NZ( IS IT THE SAME IN AUS) you can't= ten second cars have to have I full cage= cars with cages have to have a low volume cert before they can be woffed= you can't get a low volume with a cage in the front & bolt in cages are no good for tech inspection so you can't take it in & out to get a wof ! as for a nine second car ( yes I know that's a big call ) it has become even tougher in a GTR because you have to have to have a steel bell housing, unfortunately gtr boxes including hollenger & giken sequential' s have alloy bell housing's & you can't just change the bell housing to steel because it also incorperates the gearcase, imagine the cost of a custom made job- fark ANY GOOD IDEA'S ?

  13. With your camshaft set up & 11.35 lift generally means your car will not be that streetable. I spoke to 4 Door Gtr on the phone about his set up and he said it was far too lumpy for the street BULL I have 11.35 lift jun cams with more duration than above in my 32, it pulls from 1100rpm in fourth as clean as a whistle , it idles like a watch ! I also had the jun retainers & springs but had to ditch them ! the first set of springs jun sent me had f all seat pressure, the second set bound up before full lift I did not try a third set ! maybe all that is missing from JUN is the K ? so be warned - get an expert to install & check those springs ! as for the turbo- t51r kai IF ANY ONE WANTS A SET OF JUN TITAINIUM RETAINERS CHEAP, DROP ME A PM
