Some of those comments are pure assumption. GTR-wise, I went from a R32 to a R35 while working in the same job living in the same house. Plenty of people the same. It's nothing to do with class. A tonne of people here dump way more in their older RB model GTRs modifying than them than people spend on R35s.
It's still a car, one the can be easily worked on. Sure, like any relatively or new cars people use dealers to service their car. Plus it's new so not a lot goes wrong so you're not going to see a thread on why the heater isn't working because of some connection somewhere.
But there's quite a lot of DIY in the FB forum, hell even yesterday there was a thread on how 'stealerships' are calling owners offering cheaper deals for people who no longer use them to service their car!
The sad part is that the fact all this information is only available to existing owners, rather than potentially owners, makes it harder for enthusiasts looking at buying a R35.
