  1. Um good question. At this level of modifying i didn't feel the need to. The pump itself was a sizeable upgrade to stock. You can do it if you want to im sure you would get a higher voltage/efficiency.
  2. After driving along all day you can just hear the pleasant whirring of the Nismo pump. It is in no way loud or audible inside the cabin. Highly recommended. Fuel pump and filter was done at 81000kms
  3. Okay so even though this is a fairly straight forward job. I'll post a how to any way. This is how you install a nismo fuel pump. Before you do anything please make sure your battery is disconnected your fuel lid open and you have at the most a quarter tank of fuel. Your pump access is located on the rear right side under your parcel shelf in the boot. It is covered by a panel with screws Undo screws disconnect all sensor clips and make sure you have plenty of rags handy or a oil tray to collect fuel from fuel lines. To get the black cap off use a plastic screwdriver and a rubber mallet to turn it anti clockwise. Use 5/10 force. Make sure you make a rough mark as to where the black cap started. There is an arrow on the white plastic that shows where the mark needs to be tightened to Remove cap. Pry open plastic cover and remove rubber lining. Remove hose connections underneath cover To remove fuel pump. Gently pull up. It is located just behind right rear passenger seat against the wall. It is not bolted on. It uses a hook latch system Here is a comparison. The stock pump on the right is actually closer to the camera making it appear larger but it is in fact tiny compared to the Nismo. The Nismo bracket clicks into the existing plastic housing. Feed the filter element in first making sure it makes its way lower and deeper into the fuel tank. It will take you a few tries to mount the Nismo. Make sure it has clicked into the plastic bracket and that you haven't just fit it in between the bracket and the wall of the car. The pump should sit straight and not move. Connect all hoses and mountings. Change fuel filter. Re attach battery. Place car on On then start vehicle.
  4. Use citrus spray remover. Rub it in should break and peel off. Unless it's sikaflex
  5. I have a build thread so once I fit it I'll comment on any changes/differences as well as noise issues
  6. Got my hands on a nismo fuel pump. I'll be fitting this in sometime next week.
  7. Hey guys and girls. I recently purchased a nismo fuel pump that was advertised as near new and received the item today. I am aware that the Nismo items don't have any branding etc which is all good. My first concern is that it looks like someone attempted to extend a ground wire to a second clip. Is this some thing that will clip into stock or is that for the direct battery rewire mod? My second concern is the compatibility or authenticity of this product for an r34. The part number was the one thst matches r34.If someone can verify that would be great. Here are some pics. Hopefully I've posted in the right section Thanks for your help in advance
  8. That looks awesome. Where did you get it from
  9. Any news on pics for 34?
  10. Have had a car mate kit before on a different vehicle. That specific bar on that specific car required a large amount of work to fit
  11. It's not about haters. It's about preventing young drivers from hurting and killing themselves or other people. The p plate restrictions did reduce the death tolls. People do stupid shit in their cars when they are young. It's a fact you will do it. It's much safer if you end up doing it in a Nugget because in the longer time it takes to reach 100 hopefully you end up thinking twice. And it helps if dad's camry can't do skids. No hate. Just valuing life and respecting the road rules.
  12. Yeah man. It's the second one I've been through. The first one was purchased from a reputable Japanese Aftermarket parts company here in Sydney. The sandwich plate I got from them didn't work out of the box. I never went back there because their customer service was abysmal. I was actually really disappointed in them because I heard good things. Anyway this new one has held up so I'm praying it works.
  13. Just as a note some kogan items don't carry a two year consumer warranty that is now the norm Australia. The reason for this is something to do with shipping and purchasing from Hong Kong etc. Not too sure. Serialised Products purchased Australia like phones normally carry a two year warranty from the date of purchase. Hence the Australian product costing slightly more. How this affects your sale Charles.. I have no idea
  14. I'm so sorry sinista. But I had standard injectors to sell too but I only wanted 120 plus extra for postage
