I would love a R31 GTS2. I would upgrade my R31 but it wouldn't have the same prestige as having a limited edition.

I am pretty upset. There is a nice GTS 2 down the road from me that is a total soccer mum mobile. Faded paint, Winneh the pooh sun shades etc. I cry every time I go by it. If anyone has got one for sale lemme know. R31man

Someone down the south of the state. (Cygnet or around that area) I heard the turbo blew up (Bloody Ceramic turbo wheels!) If it is the one I am thinking of it was for sale at the Car Mart in Bathurst St I was looking at buying it but I saw The High/Low boost switch and thought better of it (Due to the ceramic turbo wheel.) Looks sweet as though. But when I saw it it had blue interior and a Commodore Head unit (BOO!)

I have done it quite a few times with no problems at all. Works like a charm and is heaps easier, effective and a lot less messy, than removing the pan. You still have to change the filter, gasket etc. at the recommended interval though. BTW Nissan Matic D isn't real cheap. I use it in my S3 R31. I got stung around $13 a litre from the local Nissan dealership. But that's in Tassie so I'm not sure if there is extra for freight etc. Castrol Transmax Z is exactly the same stuff but a lot cheaper. R31Man

Another way of doing it takes a bit longer and a bit more fluid but does a good job is to remove the auto trans cooler hoses and place the pressure hose in to an old tin to drain the old fluid and put the return line in a container of fresh auto trans fluid to put new fluid in to the system. Start the engine and let it run until the fluid coming out of the pressure line is a nice red color to make sure all the old fluid is out and top up to the correct level afterward. This makes sure the pan and torque converter are flushed. R31man

Hobart, R31 Series III Executive

Got it today. Anyone else played it? It's a great game, Bit like Tokyo Extreme Racer but a bit more refined. You can use NOS and slipstreams in drags etc. No real cars though. The yankee muscle car pops a mad wheelie when the loud pedal is stomped! R31man

My base offer is between $4,000 to $6,000 mark. It is a good example of a Series III. I Will send you the pics as soon as I get my Adobe Photo Shop 7 going. Having troubles at the moment. Other SAU users have seen it such as Young GTR and ZSky. You can ask them if you need an independent evaluation.

I'm getting around 116hp at the rears from my Series 3 R31 Executive. It's got extractors, 2.5in exhaust and I have played around with the AFM and timing on the dyno a bit.

I got this from Blockbuster the other day and it is bloody awesome. You can do up some GTR's and silvias etc with engine and bodykits. It's heaps better than auto-modellista and GT3. It's also got a 20min documentry on Illegal street racing in Japan. Anyone else played it?

It's about time but it has happened.... There is a import wrecker setting up in Moonah, 120 main road. Apparently going to have a heap of stuff like engines, brakes suspension etc. Anyone else heard about it? R31man
