I had the same quoted premium for an agreed value of 38G and 45G so i dont think it changes enough... would change a little i imagine. Just ring up and pretend its another car valued at 20G.

Imported the car in June 2003 with 41000km on the clock and had it serviced every 5000km. Replaced water pump and radiator hoses to be on the safe side. Hey Guys, Well i took the car to Bel Performance and im VERY happy with the results, they're a very switched on bunch of people and basically got to work as soon as i rolled in, They could tell how the car performed just looking at it! They do a road tune so not sure on the exact figures but its quick! The front of the car lifts off in first and second, and i chirped all 4 tyres at around 60ks without even meaning to. Strongly recommend these guys!

Dr30, The original fuel pump is a Nismo one too! Hence no point swapping them over and why i thought i may as well sell the brand new one and leave the older one in there. -

Yeah i did a search for the production numbers of GTRs and V-specs i remember a thread a while back listing them all (except the N1s) Might try and find it again.

Ok I know its not hard to do but you've REALLY confused me with the whole R33 N1 number calculation, i was under the impression they only were made in 1995? Are you saying that 6551 R33 N1s were made?

Knore: Was searching the auctions at Japan for about 2 months looking for a black v-spec and having no luck, then this N1 pops up, rang up the buyer in japan and asked a few questions about it. I knew next to nothing about them except that they were a bit beefed up, spent the day searching the net for info, got back to him that arvo and we thought we'd have a bid up to around 50G landed. To be honest we expected to have no chance but i actually got it very cheap (1.7M yen) which equates to around 38-40g on the road registered. So then of course i started worrying about WHY it had gone for that cheap. In the end we think that it was because it just had N1 in the corner of the auction sheet in english and no special mention was made about it. There's nothing wrong with it, its mechanically sound, 80000km, i strongly doubt its been professionally raced as it has an amp and a big arse sub in the back. Ive heard different numbers regarding production 48, 150 and 500... which is why im keen to find out.

VIN is pretty much the same as a normal GTR but obviously corresponds to an N1, my VIN is BCNR33005923 which corresponds to a White 1995 V-spec N1. As for the differences they've been covered before, its bloody hard to search as the engine doesn't like looking for little words like N1. Theres a lot of different information going round too but the main things are: R33 N1 based on the V-spec model except: Interior: No air con (button replaced with a blank cover), no radio, less sound deadening, the little button on the drivers door that unlocks the far side is blanked out too, the doors have room for speakers etc but they aren't installed. Exterior: Blanking plug where antenna should be (mine has the antenna put back on (AND DOESN"T WORK!!), front and rear CF diffusers, CF rear blade, suspension and ATTESA is apparently upgraded but i haven't been able to find any info on this Engine: N1 turbos (steel wheel) Upgraded ECU (Mine came with a Mines) Slightly stronger pistons etc, guy told me he's seen the N1 block handle up near 1200hp with forged internals Massive oil cooler on the front, uprated oil system. Block has the number 24U instead of 5U Performance: Puts out around 250kw standard. Theres an article on an N1 in one of the HPI GTR specials. Also if you search for "N1 Block" etc you should find some more info, i lost all the links when i moved over here. I'll have more info after this weekend, bought the bloody thing back in May in Japan and just when it was about to be ready for the road i moved to newcastle, driven it from the wharf and thats it!

I bought that Apexi twin pod filter kit, but now have also decided to get Z32 AFMs (which arent compatible with the filters... i dont think so anyway) Just wondering what sort of set up people use when they fit the larger AFMs? ANy help appreciated, Thanks

Hey I'm looking for a tuning shop in Newcastle to tune a Power FC on my GTR, anyone had any experience with them? Just moved over from Perth! Also looking for a good place to get a blue slip done. Any help would be appreciated as the search engine brought up nothing. Cheers
