Got a heap of tyres/rims i want to get rid of so here they are 2x 225/40/18 Nangkang Ultrasport NS-II 90% tread The tread on these is still huge, although one of the tyres has a worn edge from epic wheel flushness. The tyre in question still rides and holds air perfectly fine although i would recommend drift/skids only $40ono 4x 245/40/17 Khumo Ecsta V700 Semi slicks 75% tread These have only done a few track days, 2 of them have more camber wear than the rears and a couple have flat spots from braking. Would be fine again after a couple of laps or a skid. Havent had a chance to re use them after the track car broke so i dont need them anymore $200 1x 125/90/16 Bridestone Space saver (5 stud 5x114.3, was from R33) Still basically new, if even used. $20ono 4x ROH Adrenalin 17x8 +30 5x114.3 with 235/45/17 Potenza GIII's 65-75% tread These were on an R33 which had a battle with a gutter. The rim in the pick is pretty much the worst one and has a gouge out of it. The others were no where near as bad, can get pics of individual rim on request. Still perfect for skid/drift rims and still roll straight (had them on jzx100 for RWC). Tyres have heaps of tread too $300ono 3x Rodney Jane Racing wheels 17x7.5 +38 5x114.3 with 4x 235/45/17 tyres 90% tread These wheels were on a R33 which was hit in the side, 2 of the rims are like new just like the tyres. 1 of the rims was destroyed which i still ahve the tyre (need to check for cuts) and 1 of the rims there has a bent lip, you may still be able to use for skid/drift i dunno $150ono 4x R33 turbo stock rims 16" 5x114.3 with 4x 205/55/16 tyres 85% tread These wheels were obviously from an R33 which was a write off. 3 of the rims are fine, 1 has a crack on the back of the rim on the lip. Perfect for skids/drift. Tyres are all in RWC anyway. $100 4x AVON Full slick 250/620R17. Best suited to a 9-10" rim. I Have done one outing on these at winton. No longer need them, tread is still in excellent condition as you can see from the wear indicator. These are a well known brand and a pretty wide slick $300 All items located in langwarrin, contact me via PM or reply here as i will check this regularly. Cheers, shane

All R31's started out life as standard GX's off the production line in Clayton, they were then shipped off to Nissan SVD in Dandenong where they were then hand produced to be the GTS's we know. Howard employed Fred Gibson to look after Nissan Motorsport. He ended up buying it out for which was known as Gibson Motorsport. Fred was over in Japan a lot and learned about what they had been doing with the engines over there. Some of his input went towards ideas for the GTS's and it was up to Paul and Howard to design the car to comply with the Australian Rules at the time. Out of all the people i work with now, we are the Nissan Brains trust. It is guarantee'd we know more about Nissan, than Nissan. hahaha (We have ex-Nissan employees working here) + we are part of the Nissan Historic race team. -

SVD was not owned by gibson motorsport. They built the original prototype SVD cars (exa GP, visous vectors, GTS R31's) for Fred Gibson SVD was started by Paul Beringer who was the enginer and designer and Howard Marsden who was product development/Nissan motor sport -
ok its a Motorola SB5100I is this one ok?

I think i already saw it answered, but there were carby RB30's which are from the Nissan Patrols Interior shot is standard import interior. Import Seats + trim, double din, cable driven cluster, complete black dash just to name a few All Australian R31's had a 'solid' borgwarner rear axle. Most imports had IRS although not all, there were some with a H180/H190 solid rear axle, specifically on the lower spec cars and the Passage wagons. SVD, not gibson If you have a solid rear axle it will be either 25 or 28 spline. In australia ALL R31 skylines had 28 spline, and the R31 pintara had 25 spline axles (these were CA20 powered) No, R33 are Short nose R200's. R31's have long nose the gearsets between the two which i had were not interchangable (edit: wrote short twice) -
Hey all, my girlfriends 98' R34 Coupe GT (manual n/a 25) is in need of some new front rotors. DBA and all the searching i did on here say that they are same as R33 gtst which are 296x30mm Although the ones on the car are 280mm which i then thought ok, they are similar to R32 gtst, but these are listed with a width of 30mm. The rotors on this are only ~26mm wide, so i looked those up and the closest i can find is R32T/R33 GTS-4 @ 280x26mm. Whats the go here? why can i find no reference to an R34 having 280x26mm rotors on the front on SAU, or anywhere else for that matter? Has some noob downgraded the standard brakes? because the car was stock as a rock when we bought it though. thoughts?

^ seems as though the dyno was reading low. But of coarse that means nothing because a dyno can be made to read what ever you want. All of my friends cars read 15-25kw less than what they have on previous dyno's Specifically the '86 which ended up making less power than the last RE dyno night even though it had more modifications. Im still happy with the way my car went though. 138.9kw from a VH45 with filter and NICO ecu only. I was very suprised with how loud it was on the dyno too haha. Its a bit sad though that the 4.5lt v8 only makes 8kw more than my E15 pulsar on the same dyno lol

haha sapphire by no means did i recommend other people attemp to solder components inside the xanavi unit. I work in IT/Electronics and have no issues with soldering SMD, and having access to sillyscopes. TBH after the caps were soldered back on i tested it and like i said the screen was ok although i had another look and even more stuff was LITERALLY comming off the board and i really saw no reason to sit there soldering the IC's back on it was just a waste of time. The 34 has a whole new system in it now any way (although i have retained the standard xanavi headunit and screen up the top to keep it looking standard)
-
I opened my xanavi unit a few months ago and found out the issue, pooor surface mount components. I would warrant a guess at this being the cause of a lot of other peoples issues where the units are random as. Basically replaced most of the caps and tried to resolder what ever else. Tried it out after that and it pops up reliably now although theres still other issues. Most likely related to the board, you could literally grab and pull off what ever you wanted.

We have the same error on my g/f's r34gt. I translated it to: Program Disk Swap Do Please, so yeah pretty much saying to swap for the program disk. We had the original map cd in there though, not sure if they class that as the program disk
