Is it possible just to change the noisy bearing

Wot is the best gear box oil to use? Is the gear box easy to remove to change input bearing

Thanks for all the help everyone,I'm pretty sure it has the standard flywheel in it the car was stock as a rock wen I got it with about 97k on the clock. I sometimes drive hard but never abusive I baby the transmission n car wen just pottering around town,does anyone know how much I'm looking at to get it fixed,and how hard us it to change the fluid on these boxes.

Can anyone tell me wot the grinding noise from my gear box is I can only hear it wen I'm sitting in neutral idoling n wen I put my foot on the clutch it goes away?

Also the passenger side drops slower than drivers side,passenger side dosent make the click sound but wen u open the door the auto drop feature barely drops at all? If this helps?

They wer all loose n there was clear signs they had been tampered with/adjusted preiviously,kind of sucks but we will work thru it. Do u know where they should be? I don't mind buying a new regulator if it means everything will be spot on. Do u know why it's dropping really quick for just the first part and making the horrible click sound/wot is physically making the sound.

Thanks guys for the support. So wot is making the loud click sound it sounds like something is hitting the window itself and why is it dropping quickly in the first instant? Do the cables stretch? And the the 2 bottom threads that screw into the bottom of the window tracks with the flat blade slot in the end of them that hold the tracks to the silver plate that bolts the main part of the door? How do I know how much to screw them in or out?

I thought maybe the cables have stretched that's why it's clicking or that's the cause of the initial sudden drop wen going down and the window drop feature

Oh so does that mean the motor has developed some kind of free play? I got my partner to adjust the window it now drops ok but still with the horrid click. Wot is actually making the click sound

Hi just woundering if anyone has issues with the auto drop mine don't drop very much n wen the do the make a huge click sound The sound also happens wen I put the window down in that first instant wen it's going down it clicks really loud too Can anyone help ?

Auto drop won't drop very far so the function is kinda pointless on my v35 and wen I put the window Down as soon as I press the button it's drops about an inch really quick with a horrid click sound n continues to go down as normal Can anyone help me ?

The car hesitates just before the dash sound occurs almost like a wheel brakes tracktion

Well it's a grass embankment that I park parallel on so the car is on a tilt towards the drivers side. I'm not reversing up or down it but across it so just straight back parralel on the slope n I get this weird electric motor sound from under the steering wheel

Hi has anyone had an issue reversing on a slope? I park my 2003 v35 on a steep grass bank n every time I try and reverse off the bank it starts to reverse back then drastically hesitates and I get a weird electric motor sound from under the speedo ?
