  1. I'd sat 20-25k
  2. 2400? what sort of a bs rip off is that? I wouldn't even pay half that
  3. Easiest way is with a consult cable. I noticed you're in brisbane, otherwise i'd let you use my diagnostic screen.

  5. The best tip I would give you is expect to pay a high price for a good one (you might be lucky and get a bargain). I'd be budgeting 20k+
  6. could be misfire or rich and retard
  7. Resetting the ecu doesn't do a whole lot. Trust me. I have a consult cable, and i've tried resetting the ecu with it many times. The placebo effect is about 100 times as much as the real effect. People say oh, it feels smoother, makes more power, spools earlier.... next thing people will be saying that resetting the ecu makes the car look better
  8. For 200 rwkw, I wouldn't really do anything to the engine. I'd put on an oil cooler, keep it well maintained, and that's it. it's not a lot of power. Drive it sensibly, look after it and it will treat you well.
  9. I'm actually trying to diagnose the same problem. Using my consult screen, my timing is jumping on idle. I'm going to try and clean up my idle first. I haven't cleaned all the valves etc - that could be a start - cold start valve, aac etc.
  10. I see a paddock basher, but it's not really an ultimate one. Imagine bashing the paddock in that. After sucking in dirt for about 2 seconds, it'd probably have seized.
  11. pm sent. Anyone else who needs some I can source r33 or vg30 turbos for you too.
  12. The turbotech one is ok if you're looking at spending about 30-40$. Cheap and fairly decent. If you're looking at going electronic, the jaycar one is an absolute ripper (you need to understand electronics to build it yourself though).
  13. oh yeah!, you know what always guarantees blood spilt - fuel filter. My old shitter subaru wagon has its fuel filter up at the top of the engine bay. Piece of cake.
  14. Those why do you 'need' questions don't even deserve an answer Why do they need 50 handbags, or 100 pairs of shoes. We don't ask them, because they'll give a dumb answer like, um, I need it, so they should leave us alone Man, I'm just like that as well. My temper is about as short as they come. I've done that to the guard too. By the time you realise, and then think hmmm, I could have put an old t shirt or something on there its too late.
  15. Haha, Dane, that's hilarious Yeah, totally agree with you mate. I work on the car myself, because I take that little bit of extra care. e.g. not put hand prints on the paint, not dirty the interior etc.
  16. The name lube mobile doens't sound bad to me. I believe it comes down tot he individual guy. Each lube mobil guy would be different. Check the guy out in your local area. If he's good, then use him. I know this really good mobile guy - nice asian guy. Most 'performance shops' just whack the name 'performance' or motorsport in their name and suddenly they're an import specialist. Lube mobile is a great idea - their prices are very competitive, and they come to your door. No need to go to a workshop and have someone pick you up to take you home.. Some guy above said it's a nissan not a lambo. Even a lambo is a car....
  17. 217 at 11 psi isn't a standard turbo. It makes that power at 14-15 psi. most likely its a highflow. 217 at 11 psi sounds spot on for a highflow.
  18. I got one. Slide offers 350 for them exchange on his turbos, so something around there, or, if you want, we can make a trade for something.
  19. I've got some op6 turbos ben Jeez...It seems like I have one of everything under the sun these days. No wonder why I have no money...grrr
  20. Sorry about the full inbox turbs, I get quite a few pms. I've since cleared it out. All pms have been answered now. Thanks guys, both ecus are now sold. Thanks to: 'Security' and 'turbs33'
  21. I spent about 5 minutes reading some of the posts. biggest waste of 5 minutes. I feel more stupid after reading it. Bunch of hillbillies, bogans, rednecks, whatever you want to call them. Chuck em all into a room together with a pile of guns in the middle and let them have a free for all.
  22. haha, 1 week and you're complaining. Try weeks. My whole importing process took about 8 months. longest wait of my life.
  23. oil reistant hose. All hose is pressure hose to some extent
  24. Tiny little reservoir is clutch fluid. This is the way I do the powersteering - others might do it differently. I undo one of the hoses form the powersteering reservoir, drop that fluid, suck the rest out using a mitivac, put hose back on, fill it, jack the front of the car up, and turn wheel side to side. Easy. I know that my method doesn't get out all the fluid, but it doesn't matter. My fluid was clean, so refreshing it was just for fun anyways. If its dirty, I do my method a couple times.
