  1. the turbotechis not a bleedvalve. it's a ball valve.
  2. 3.5krpm late? welcome to the world of the rb20. a 2535 is quite large for an rb20, so of course it'll be laggy. Haev you got the adjustible actuator adjusted properly?
  3. Chris, is that your gf? she's really hot
  4. nah, r33 hvn, that's normal. when the rear wheel lets go, quite often (maybe 50% of the time, the front wheel will shit itself too
  5. The front compressor wheel is not 'plastic' it's 'bakelite'. This gives the turbo faster spool. There is no problem with running more boost on the sII turbos. The front wheel never has a problem. It is always the rear ceramic wheel that lets go. Furthermore, once the rear wheel on turbos let go, the front wheel usually loses its balance and will eat the housing. The bakelite compressor wheel will supposedly also do less damage than a metal compressor wheel. Lastly, the sII turbos are newer, so are generlaly in better condition. therefore, in summary, the advantages are: faster spool, newer, less damage. No disadvantages compared to the sI turbo.
  6. what is this pain numbing liquid you speak of. I have to get me some of that.... yummm pain knumbing liquid. Where is fatz... I'm sure he uses lots of that when he works on cars.
  7. lol at security I personally have never got a shock doing mine, but hey, anything is possible. Did you have the car on by any chance?
  8. Obviously, if you're doing a single turbo conversion, as you have a single turbo manifold, everything is in a different position. Therefore, obviously, the stock lines are not useable. Remove them and use braided.
  9. Cubes, that's not the problem. I have stock ecu and my car does the same thing. Identical.
  10. Welcome to the world of bosch pumps. No anti drainback valve, so it has no pressure. That's one of the reasons why I think they're shit
  11. probably done more like 150-200. for 25k, you're scraping into r33 gtr territory. If you spend another 3-4 k, so about 28-29, you'll be getting a much better newer car
  12. well, it's all one unit. you can pop the coded barrel out and put it into the new one, but essentially, the whole housing has to be replaced.
  13. yeah, doesn't really show much lookng at a value like that though. it's really how the car reacts when you do stuff.
  14. 'champion' bolts high tensile rack. pick whatever length, whatever size until your heart's content
  15. Imo, the r34 gtr is the fastest and the r33 gtst is the fastest. the r34 gtt offers negligible power gains over the r33 gtst, yet it adds on about 50 kg.
  16. I can see r32 gtst to 32 gtr as an upgrade, but personally, I wouldn't go from r33 gtst to r32 gtr. I'd go for an r33 gtr. most r32s are shitted up, and by the time you get a good one, or pay to repair a shit one, you'll have paid for an r33 gtr.
  17. try paint cleaner. if that doens't work, yo'll hjave to cut it
  18. woohooo. does she have hair?
  19. awesome result. the coolers are really good.
  20. nah, that looks like a standard turbo to me. Ceramic means stock turbo end of story. It is the exhaust wheel that normally goes. People would not get the turbo rebuilt and get front changed and not the rear. You cannot take the rear wheel off without it cracking. There is no way you could change the front wheel. That is NOT highflowed. If you compare it to a slide turbo, you'll notice the slide turbo has the snout bored out heaps. There's a lot of bs being thrown around in this thread. Most likely it could even be an r33 sI turbo, in which case it's worth jack shit. If it's an r33 turbo, it's worth 250-300. If it's an r34 turbo, it's worth - 350. One just sold for 350 with 70 000 ks on it.
  21. the metallic looking one is the sII one. the black one is the sI one. You'll have to buy the whole thing, not just the swivel lock cover
  22. Nice one matey, at least you worked it out. Bet when you saw that, you felt both relieved and really dumb at the same time Do your intercooler pipes have a lip on them? if not, you may want to get one made, otherwise, everytime you hit high boost, it'll pop the pipe off
  23. I've pmed mike todya. I hope this gets sorted out pretty soon because it has been a long time. I specifically checked many many times when I ordered, you sure you sure you sure it is sII because the sII cluster is not the same as the sI. The response I got was that sII people had ordered sII clusters had received sII bezels.
