  6. Cams will give you a meatier midrange. From what I've seen with my car, and friend's cars the top end power will be limited by the size of the exhaust housing. That said, the bigger the exhaust housing the later it will come onto boost.
  7. I think UAS are having a sale on some cf bonnets.
  8. Wasn't me, my car is parked with a battery charger on it. Haven't driven it in a couple of weeks. My car is also covered in advertising stickers now. So you'd know if it was me.
  9. From the HPI SAU NSW photoshoot:
  10. w00t! The bird pic in the whorethread looks nice . Good shallow DOF.
  11. A 32 is not cheap by any means. The amount you save now you will be paying for in maintenance and general fixing up of things that will go wrong. The smart option is to buy a 33. But if you've always wanted a 32 and you ended up with a 33 I think you'll eventually still want to get a 32...This alone means that you'll never be totally happy with the 33. The smarter option is to wait till you can afford a 34 GTR. I know that even though I've lusted after a 32 GTR since they were running around Bathurst I would get a 34 GTR over a 32.
  12. Well, I'd be looking at it this way. The age of the 32 negates the vspec 2 "suspension benefits" over the newer R33. Why? Because of age that's why. Every single suspension component on the 32 will be older, and therefore softer when compared to the 33's. But again, 32's look better. 32's are what everyone recognises...A 32 GTR is what I am looking for atm too. For those that are saying 32's are faster on the track there are a few video's going around that show that stock for stock the 33 is faster around the track. That and the body rigidity of a stock 33 is much more than a stock 32. (We're talking GTR's here). Ah well. Decisions, decisions.
  13. No dash light for the alternator. To test if the alternator is stuffed: - Grab a multimeter. Put it across the positive and negative terminals on your battery with the car off. Make sure it reads about 12v. - Turn the engine on. Do the same thing. Put the multimeter across the positive and negative terminals on your battery. It should now read about 14v give or take a 0.5v or so. - If it still reads the same as when the engine was off then your alternator is dead. The other thing that could be wrong is that your battery is on it's last legs. How old is it? If it's not the alternator or the battery then it has to be the alarm install. In which case you should take it back and get them to check what they've done. It could be something as simple as an incorrect ground. I had an internal piezo screamer installed in my car that I had to remove due to it constantly draining my battery. It was a case of the alarm sending a ground signal instead of sending 12v to set the siren off. With the piezo screamer not being grounded properly and being connected to 12v, this meant that the battery was being drained constantly.
  14. Just mould and dirt. I had what looked like thick clay in those areas that you have marked when my car arrived. I used my fingers to dig it all out, then just used soap and water to clean it up.
  15. I think he was asking if they are certified mechanics. You know, with all the paper work and such.
  16. Don't think anyone can drive for shit if they're 3 times over the legal limit.

  22. nice work dude
  23. congrats. How'd it happen?
  24. It's not standard. I've never driven a skyline with this problem, and I've driven my fair share. Could be true. I personally can't confirm or deny that. If you're in an accident you will be up the proverbial without a paddle. Insurance will not cover you.
