  1. Yep saw that.
  2. ...cause some previous japanese owners had taste. mine didn't
  3. My genuine SKYLINE mats look like grey and white pokedotted pieces of crap. They look sooo tacky. Why anyone would choose them in that colour is beyond me. I'm just a lover of black mats I guess. Hmmm, so he's based in Sydney? I might have to send him an email.
  4. Hey sewid Got any pics of the mats you got from him? Cause the pics on his ebay auctions show fake ones. Not sure why any seller would want to show fake mats if they actually have the real ones. I'd like to be proved wrong on this one. The pictures above show the difference clearly.
  5. Can't believe the nerve of some people... click... this is what "genuine" looks like.
  6. 18's. 19's are stupid...
  7. Spotted Duncan in the tree-fiddy on New Line Road about 11am today. I was in the Lancer. Don't think you would've seen me.
  8. Yeah trublsm's right. I'm thinking of selling the rims soon though, so I can get some work meisters. BUT, I don't wanna spend large amounts on things like wheels anymore. lol hehe . Should sticker up that magna. I would've seen you then . Thanks dude. The bonnet is an East Bear carbon fibre bonnet. Powerplay Imports here in Sydney imported it for me. The quality is like no other carbon bonnet I've seen. But you pay alot of $$$'s for the quality. (The other bonnet are less than half the price of this one...)
  9. The 32 is stock. Hmmm...I was lead to believe that the bottom hose is where the thermostat is. It's cold, and it shouldn't be when the top one is hot. (photo of upside down engine courtesy of mr32)

    Widebody

looks like Beer. I want to drink it.
  11. What? No... Really? I remember seeing 74c and trying to make a 1/4 of a tank last an extra week cause I refused to pay such an absurd amount for petrol. 60c and I was cheering. If I saw 98octane for 74c now I'd be dancing a little (well not really...)
  12. Hey dude. Would've been me heading back from picking up a new fuel pump for my g/f's 32. I spotted a few lines, but didn't catch their plates. What were you in?
  13. Cheers, thanks dude.
  14. Hey guys, Here's the jist: R32 GTST RB20det Appears to be overheating. Thermofan turns on and can hear it above 3000rpm sometimes....And it's happening more frequently as the weather is getting hotter. Only use to do it sometimes. Now does it all the time. Anyway, I just took it for a drive to warm everything up and to test the new fuel pump. Came back home and opened the bonnet. Touched the top radiator hose, was hot to the touch. Touched the bottom radiator hose near the block, and it was cold to the touch. Now this bottom hose is where the thermostat is. Am I right in thinking that because the top one is hot, and the bottom one (where the thermostat is) is cold, that the thermostat is broken in the closed position? Cheers, wil..
  15. woohoo. Just finished changing the fuel pump with a new higher flowing one . Surprisingly simple on the 32. Not nearly as fiddley as the 33, and you don't need to sit in the damn boot to get it out . Thought I'd test it first, so I put the fuel hose that normally goes into the fuel rail into a coke bottle. Turned reds on. Then saw fuel flowing very f**king quickly into the coke bottle! So quickly I was worried it would over flow. Anyway, I did a little dance. (Well not really... but kinda). Then I put the fuel line back into the rail. Turned reds on. Crossed my fingers, then cranked her over. Started right up. I did a really big dance then. (Well not really...) Now to fix an overheating issue. Thermostat is screwed I think. But that's another thread.

  17. Ok.. I've checked the power to the pump it gets 12V when i turn reds on. Still no fuel coming out at the fuel hose that goes into the fuel rail. Pulled pump out. Whacked it hard with a big screw driver. Put it back in... same deal. I'm thinking it's the fuel pump. What does everyone else think?
  18. Ours was the IAC valve
  19. What fuse do I check, and where's the relay?
  20. Hey, would've been me
  21. Awesome. Thanks heaps Chris Fuel filter shouldn't be a prob. Only changed it 3000km's ago. But I'll check it. Might need to buzz ya later though if I run into probs with my n00b mechanic skills.
  22. Thing is the car won't start at all now. Doesn't appear to be getting any fuel through. I'm trying to figure out if it's the fuel pump or not. I think I've pulled the right fuel line off to check. Does anyone know if fuel should be coming out of the fuel hose that comes out of the fuel filter when priming and cranking?
  23. Hey dude, still got those pics?
