  1. Agreed. Two 15min sessions on these tyres around Oran Park GP circuit saw the rear belts showing, and the fronts almost showing too. Car would squirm under braking and under power out of every corner. That said I'm not exactly making stock power.
  2. I've just recently put Federals on my car SS595 265/35 R18 $320 each and 235/40 R18 $220 each fitted and balanced So far so good. Night and day difference between the Nankang NS-II's I had on there before. Will have to see how the wear is though. N.B. For Federal 595 RS I was quoted $570 each for 265/35 R18's!!!
  3. mine doesn't.
  4. hehe, all good dude
  5. I have all 12 points on my licence thanks Oh, and I also have a high flow perfomance catalytic converted... and last time I heard I couldn't lose points off my drivers licence for punching cats in the face... So ummm... what the? ...what's with the hostility... hippy
  6. If it did I would be taking them off.... Mud guards have no place on a sports coupe.
  7. ditto, is it genuine nismo or a fibreglass copy?

  9. ditto, is it genuine nismo or a fibreglass copy?
  10. old news.
  11. go the tempe GT-C copies dude They really look good on your car.
  12. Not sure, but it's hard to come first. I think coming first consists of coming the closest to the "Average speed" for the whole event as dictated by the organisers, while still making it to all the "events" that are made known to you as you get your time sheet stamped at the start of each stage. If you do it too fast, you lose, too slow and you lose. Miss too many events and you lose. Generally the average speed, while almost "doable" while keeping to the speed limit is only achieveable if you don't go to any of the events. Which means you lose. Well that's my understanding of it anyway. Soooooooo... if you want to do it, do it for fun, not for the prize money
  13. or if that's not good enough then,
  14. ask on the MX5 forums... http://www.aus-cartalk.com/

  18. This is very true. I once got a quote and gave them the wrong postcode (one suburb over -> less than 2mins drive), difference was $800....

  20. Ahh, I remember the wave. It wasn't an out the window wave like mine though... Soooo lazy.

  22. Yep dark. Thought I'd have a play. I might buy some.
  23. Yeah, I do believe that punching the innards of a cat is illegal. But I don't know, I much prefer punching cats in the face.
  24. I like white on white. Both my car and my g/f's car are white on white. Didn't really aim for it to end up this way, but it just did. I always hated white cars, and she wanted a black car... go figure.
  25. Pop the hood on that car and you'll see crackle blue/purple cam covers too . If that's the same mines s15 we're talking about
