What happens on a "Cruise"? That's like a harbour cruise yeah? Where do you all park your cars?

Saw an article in some HPI or Zoom mag. I only briefly read it though and can't remember exactly what it said. But the gist of it went: There's a workshop in Queensland that's actually developing a proper LPG system. The owner of the shop has converted his BA xr6 turbo to run on petrol and LPG but with proper injection and engine management (different to the normal, "lets blow lpg down the f**king intake pipe and take a brand new engine and make it run like it was designed in the 60's"). After tuning the car apparently makes more torque down low, and switches to petrol seemlessly up high in the rev range to give better top end, or something.

one of the guys here just got an LPG conversion for a v6 commonwhore. I think it was $4k or something. What I can't get over is the fact that the LPG technology they convert your car to use was designed back in the 60's.

I think series 1's have 4 wheels and tires that are a little bit more round than the series 2's. Which is why the series 1's look a bit more round.

Yep, that'll do the trick. Heat it up alot, just careful you don't heat up the plastic too much or the paint. Slow and steady's the way to go. Take your time. I used a hair dryer to debadge my car and the g/f's car. Then I used a bit of metho on a rag to remove any left over bits and pieces of sticky gunk (rinsed off with water after ofcourse).

yep, what dezz said. I think the guards are the same, it's just the front bar, grill, and bonnet that are different.

Ummm... I think he said 5w50. Which is what I use, over filled (to the bottom of the bump on the stick) ofcourse. I think 10w30 would break down too early in an RB turbo engine (engine gets too hot for that oil).

Keep it the way it is... Just no more "region" stickies. That's what I think anyway. I mean the "Campbelltown Thread" could easily be called "Whoretown v2 for whoretown rejects"... I'm j/k'ing!!!! But seriously, the way it is good I think.

They're awesome, but ONLY in a custom offset. (need BIG dish...bigger dish than in the pic above can be custom ordered) Being Australian you can get them made in a custom offset easily'ish too
