  2. My Greddy Profec B spec 2 works fine. Really fiddly but fine. I'm on full boost(13psi) just before 3000rpm (stock turbo) and it holds boost perfectly (see graph)
  3. What's the peak when you get the warning? reset the peak, fang it... if you get the warning check the peak. It'll most probably have peaked over whatever it is you have your warning set at. You can set the warning to do nothing. Red "Warning" mode screen, and a "0" setting (this sets it to do nothing). Or you can set it to something by setting this to a number. Then basically, if the profec B reads a higher boost pressure then it will default the boost setting to whatever you had set on the red warning screen.
  4. or street drifting.....
  5. does it actually say something in this issue? I can't find anything about SPEED ending in any of the previous issues...
  6. silver man, what happened? You didn't let your girly drive did ya?
  7. I thought white spark plug tips meant lean running, not burning oil?
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUDE Here's to lots of boostin!!
  9. Moanie and I fixed ours using a product called "QuikSteel". You can buy it at Kmart. Don't use silicone. It's crap. Even that marine grade stuff will come loose in no time. I now have a satisfying "psshhhhtttt" as I open the petrol cap.
  10. Me too!! I take a detour when going to work now though. It's still only takes about 15mins, use to take 10.
  11. Well... if you do this to it:

  15. man that's an awesome price!!! too bad I only just bought a catco
  16. I normally give the car a couple of mins at idle after starting her. Then I drive below boost till the water temp is around 75degrees. Yep tommo, I noticed that the knock level increases if under 2000rpm and in 5th gear than if at higher revs and 4th gear. So I guess it's bad to put the car under any load (even low in the rev range) when it's cold.
  17. accessible from under the car... sorta... right side towards the top of the gear box. You'll notice a few plugs up there. Kinda hard to explain where exactly. It's a real bitch to get to. I spent nearly an hour trying to get it out before giving up and taking it to my mechanic. He had it out in 15mins. (put the car up on the hoist, dropped the gearbox a little, then he got me to wedge a block of wood inbetween the tranmission tunnel and the box, then lever it away a little so he could get a socket in there).
  18. I use to have this problem. I've got an s2 r33 too. Basically the switch in the gearbox for the reverse lights was screwed. Got the new part and had my mechanic install the switch as I couldn't get to it. It's impossible to get to it without dropping the gearbox slightly (just loosen the bolts holding the gearbox up a little). The switch screws in.
  19. That's what I have on mine!!! lol
  20. There's normally an annual Skyline UAS dyno day isn't there? Last year it was in August or something.
  21. Me too, Thanks heaps Jerry. The battery is now installed, and appears to be working well . I actually had an old Odyssey 1200 battery, and just took the terminals off that. They were a direct fitment to this battery. (See photo's) I had already altered my car's terminals to be of the bigger variety (that fits the majority of Australian batteries), and changed my positive wire to a longer one so that made everything that much easier to fit. The battery infront of an Oddysey 1200 Battery: Swapping the posts over: The battery installed: (plenty of room) Cheers again Jerry. Was great doing business with you. Good luck at wsid next week!
