  1. Oh I want them. That's not really the question. I was asking others if they reckon I should spend. Which is silly. But hey, I'm silly This photo would look 100 times better if I had those wheels....
  2. oooo a GTR in a silver kitchen! Must be a big kitchen!
  3. I can get the auto lock thing installed for ya if ya want moanie hmm.. crap, we're whoring in the spotted thread.... Umm...umm... oh yeah, spotted POS-... grey 33 series 2 at UAS last week when I picked up my flywheel. There was a brand new shiney intercooler in the front.
  4. shhh, it was moanie.. you know how she loves 34's... Her above post is just a ruse to make you "think" it wasn't her
  5. hey yeah blitz, I noticed you changed your rims to 34 GTR ones. What made you change them? I'm still undecided. I don't want bling.. I reckon the white with silver lip looks kinda racey. I also like the little bolt things. But yeah, $1900 for a mod that isn't really needed, but does make it look a lot better (to me anyway)... I dunno.. Don't bring, ecu, turbo etc into it... They're all coming.. But still. Ah well. I'll figure it out.
  6. LOL blitz!! AboBob the wheel's are white centre with chrome lip... Big dish on the rears.. these are the exact wheels:
  7. Cheers, totally understand what you're saying. I always prefered dished wheels... I could always get the white powder coated black if I got bored. I'm still undecided though...
  8. Currently have Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's on all 4 wheels.. Sticky, expensive rubber... There might only be 0.5" in width on the wheel, but the tire sizes are different, 235 vs. 265. The 235/40 foot print is alot smaller than the 265/30 foot print isn't it?
  9. Stupidly I started looking at wheels... Now I've always been a fan of dished wheels but have been without with my current ride, as she came with already big wheels and good rubber. At the moment she's wearing 18x9's all around with 235/40 rubber. What I'm looking at getting are 18x8.5 235/40 fronts, and 18x9.5 265/30 rears. Also, I guess the wider rears would help with traction. Anyway, this is what she looks like: and this is what she could look like: Help! What do you guys reckon? wil..

20% tint is illegal.. Darkest legal is 35% in NSW.
  13. must have been moanie liz! always boosting down epping road I hear...... tsk tsk
  14. wasn't me... and no i don't look like a she!! LOL pfftt nismo wing..
  15. So some crazy person will take the effort to make a see-thru housing with neon's that'll let you see the flywheel spin? LOL
  16. Clutch and flywheel are in. Torque loss - None that I can really feel. The car however picks up a lot nicer than it use to. It runs through the rev's significantly faster than before. The clutch is rated as having a higher clamping force than before, yet the pedal feels "lighter" than it use to??? What's the go there. The new clutch grabs a lot harder than the old. That much I'm sure of. But I'm just curious as to why the pedal feels lighter? I always heard that replacement clutches with higher clamping loads would be heavier in feel.
  17. Well guys I bought the light weight flywheel from UAS today, and had a chat to John as always... They're real helpful over there I tell ya! This one weighs in at 4.8kg. Anyway, here are some photo's that I took of it. It'll be installed tomorrow with the daikin heavy duty clutch. click thumbnails to open the photo in a larger window I'll know the results tomorrow.... (fingers crossed ay) wil..
  18. That makes sense. So basically the revs will rise and die down quicker (when reving in neutral for example), kind of like a motorbike? Now I'm assuming that this will also equate to faster acceleration. Am I right in assuming this?
  19. Will that be enough? I was also wanting more response. Quick rev'ing etc.
  20. Just a quick question guys, I'm getting a Daikin heavy duty clutch installed, and have the option to get a lightweight flywheel. I've heard that I will loose torque if I do. Is this true? Will I notice?
  21. aww is the DezertEagle on that forum the same that use to be on here? His sig said he sold his line! Bummer... all cause of a stupid defect
  22. Spotted white R33 GTR with nismo stickers on it, and nismo wheels in white in the IBM cf carpark :wavey:
