Hey Pashak, where'd you get your clear indicator lights for your front bar from?

I think a better question is what mods are defectable and what ones aren't. But even then, everything is defectable. Hell, I've heard of people getting defected for the stock BOV. After the front mount went in I thought I'd put that hole under the air filter to use. I sealed up the alluminium box I made a bit more(photos of the box above in an earlier post), and used some flexible tubing. Here are the pics. 1. self explanatory 2. also pretty self explanatory 3. under the bumper, looking up at where the pipe attaches to the air duct in the bar. 4. the front bar is to the right in this shot 5. the pipe here is heading back and up into the cold air box.

The guards are soo high off the tires on that wide bodied R33 GTR. Looks very wrong imo. But hey, it goes fast.

Isn't "The Shire" Sutherland? Incar Option is another good place. But it's in Wetherill Park.

Here's a bigger one. Yep, it's an R34. But I think a similar design on an R33 would look pretty mean.

Yeah.... I was trying to dial that out.... If you notice it spikes to 12psi at the start too... But one thing though, it holds the 10psi. The ebc I have is a Greddy Profec B spec 2. I think I've dialled the spike out... Unsure if it'll still be undulating though. next month/next pay packet I managed a 166.9 rwkw on the skylines autralia dyno day at UAS a little while ago, with only 10psi, stock side mount, full exhaust and pod. I'm hoping for over 170rwkw now I've got the front mount. (also have a cold air box with cold air feed now too). PFC will be coming! wil..

Thought I might as well update this thread. Finally installed a Front Mount Intercooler on the weekend . There's a noticeable change in response. That is, for the better. Seems to come on boost a little quicker. The seat of the pants dyno says things are better. Dyno run at UAS on saturday. So hopefully it'll be better

My tint guy used an old kettle... one of those ones that doesn't turn off when it starts to boil. Attached to the end of this he attached a hose. (The steam would come out of the hose) Basically he used this as a steamer. He steamed the crap out of the tint, used a scrapper to grab an edge, then pulled and steamed. Came off soooo easily and all in one piece. After this he just steamed the window and scraped it lightly to remove any glue residue. Very, very easy with steam. wil..

Hey guys, Ok...Here's the go, I had a big front mount installed yesterday. But I left the white mesh on my GTR style bar. You can just barely see the cooler. It still looks sweet. But I'm not sure if it would look better without it....and whether the hassle of stone damage, and the fact that an exposed intercooler is a defectable item is worth it. There is a picture attached. What do you reckon I should do? wil..

So it is relatively normal? (It was like a thin film of oil in the pipe. No oil came out of the intercooler) Compression should be fine. Had a compression test done 3 months or so ago, and all was good. Also made a decent 167rwkw @10psi (w/ just full 3" exhaust, and ebc) at the Skyline Dyno day at UAS a while back. So hopefully the engine is still ok. I don't drive it that hard. So it's only $110 to get a new oil seal? I was told more than that... hmmm. Are there any aftermarket turbo's that are the same/similar size to the stock R33 GTS-T turbo but ball bearing? Also what's the average cost? wil..

R33 Gtr

Hey guys, Today while installing my front mount intercooler I noticed that in the pipe that leads from the turbo to the cooler there was a film of oil. ie, Put your finger in and it comes out black. Now I'm positive that means my turbo is on the way out. Am I right? How long do you think it will have left? I decided not to boost it anymore than it is already (only set to 10psi) to try and keep it from dying too soon. Also, what kind should I replace it with? I'm looking at keeping the internals, and injectors of the engine stock. wil..
