HEy i got a nemesis too man.. i reckon its great.... the guy who installed it did a great job!!! however the instruction manual thing is pretty crap.. just have to remember how to use it.. when the guy explains it to ya... Hey if the pin code thing is annoyin ya... just put the thing in Valet mode... that way your alarm and immobilisers still work but u wont have to enter in the pin all the time.. then if ur gonna leave the car for ages.. then take it off valet mode and then the pin has to be entered to start the car... i highly recommend the nemesis...

HEy all... I just got a R33 1994 GTST... imported it early september and now its finally on the road.... got number plates and everything but they said i have to go and get an RTA identity inspection still before they give me the rego sticker.. but i got a temporary one for the moment!!! What do they do in this inspection???.. well my car is pretty much stock anyway.. but do they just match up paper work and chassis number etc.. just a double check? anyway guys hope to see you on the road...

hey.. yeah i have before and after pictures but i picked up my car last week... so would it be too late... to claim for insurance??? what do i need to do??? that sux about ur mate i know how he feels.. the bastards left the user manual in for the stereo in my car as well prolly just to rub it in.. at least they took it out neatly without breaking anything... Hey how did ur mate go? did he get all his stuff back??? what did he do??? i want to claim mine now but i got told not to bother.... its depressing when you look at ur new car and think hell yeah.. then u look at the big hole where the stezza used to be and its damn depressing.... let me know how ur mate goes.. be good to hear that someone got their stuff back... is it too late for me to claim?

HEy, Mate get insurance trust me... with all the problems and stuff you can run into with importing.. the last thing you need is a damaged car which is not covered by insurance.. if you dont have insurance the 2 weeks or so (time taken to ship it over) will be the longest 2 weeks of ur life.. just worrying and stuff.. i just had mine imported and they stole the gearknob and the radio... not sure what i could do about it.. but apparently not much can be done about it.

hey A31_Cefiro thanks mate, so when the compliancer got the compliance plates put on.. he did blue slip and all that for you?? what do you mean send you the paper work? did you drive it away the same day they put the plates on? didnt you still have to go to the RTA to register it? what do they do with regards to number plates? How long to get it on road after they put the cpliance plates on? while waiting for the compliance plates is there anything i can do to speed up the process of registration? sorry about all the questions thanks

Hi thanks Blue slip is the blue peice of paper sent to you when your rego expires.. u know the one where you peel off the label and stick it on ur windscreen....as my car has just come from japan.... it is unregistered so i need to obtain the blue slip.. i dont know how to go about obtaining the blue slip.. i think i need that.. any help? thanks

HEy All My car is currently being complied as we speak, can someone please help me in what i need to do after its finished compliancing? WHat are the steps to obtaining a blue slip? do i need to book the car in? also how much will it cost? how long does it usually take to get it on road after the car is complied? Thanks all

HEy All, Well my car finally came in.... however the radio and gear knob got stolen.. is there anything i can do about this? i mean insurance wise or is it just not worth the hassle it was an Addzest CD/MD double din, it looked pretty good though.... the BARSTARDS!!!!!.. the car is getting complied at the moment also can anyone offer some advice on registration? how do i go about getting the Blue slip, and how long will this take? i'm not sure what to do.. what are the steps to registration?.. i know i gotta get greenslip.. but after compliance, what do i do??? thanks

yeah well the boomerang has cool features but i'm after the best protection rather than features, i spoke to one of the dealers of Boomerang he says yes they only have one point immobiliser and colour coded wiring, but they can also incorporate it into another system, which has touch point ignition (where you have to touch certain points to be abel to start the car...) so that may be an option too... then i spoke to Brant who said they are bringing out Nemesis 2 which works in conjunction with Nemesis 1 but this will also have Vehicle tracking as well.. so u'll have nemesis alarm plus tracking... so that is also an option... speak to Nick at brant alarms he's really helpful, and i cant remember the name of the guy at boomerang.. but go to www.incaroption.com.au and call the guy from there.. he was pretty helpful too but if u find anyither alarm systems let me know.

hey all, i think i may go for the Brant Nemesis as well, i cant afford tracking, i heard the Boomerang is good however it only really has good features like turbo timer remote engine start etc, it only has a one point immobiliser and the wiring is colour coded. i think i may get the nemesis as after all its about car security.. it has 6 point immobiliser and a keypad pin code thing.. and i've tried to find out info on the web for other alarms but there's not much out there.. i thik the NEmesis is the best i;'ve seen so far.. but please if anyone else has some other suggestions let me know as i'm still deciding which alarm to get still as well... but if i do get the nemesis alarm i'll post up what i think of it.

HEy Guys, YEAh thanks for the advice.. i know my friend isnt doing a shifty.. i signed the import approval thing, like about 5 weeks ago, and we got it back approved about 2 weeks ago, so i'm not concerned about that i'm more concerned about this shipping problem... i have to call him later to see if he got that Bill of Lading thing... He has another car that has landed for another customer and that came without any hassles just my car is taking soooo long... Once the ship lands, what other problems can come... Do you know how much it cost to register the car??? being the first time its registered etc... and why did they have to do everything twice? i thought that compliancing was usually enough... the car i'm getting is pretty much stock.. so shood i have any major problems? thanks

thanks for the reply, I think he's getting the Bill of lading number tonite, and then he's going to enquire with the freight ppl what the name of the ship is etc, well if he's got a Bill of lading number then doesnt that mean that its on the ship? cos they wouldnt charge him if they didnt have details of the car etc.. , but still 6 weeks on the boat seems a bloody long time!... and i still dont know the name of the shipping company or the boat all i know is they tell me its schedule to arrive in Sydeny on the 1st of November 6 BLOODY WEEKS!!!! thanks for your help any more suggestions will be appreciated stay tuned folks

Thanks guys for replying, YEahi got an import approval approved last week, i'm trying to find out the details now but the dude i'm going thru doesnt know yet either cos, he says his supplier organises everything about shipping and then send the bill to him, so i guess i'll have to wait until he gets the shipping bill emailed to him and then it will have the details of the ship etc. He told me the company is the mitsui osk line, and the ship's name is planet ace, but he got that confused with another car he was bringing in.. so he's not sure what ship my car is on all he nows and its already on a ship... good to see he's organised. I guess there's not much more i can do from my end, if i dont know the name of the ship or anything, hopefully everything goes well. i'll keep u posted when i find out more... still sounds dodgy that no one knows anything about the ship, port etc.... they told me it left Kobe, but they could have got that confused with the other car as well...

Hi guys, I'm getting a 94 R33 GTST imported from japan through a friend, however he tell mes that the ship will leave september 25 and arrive in Sydney in November 1st that is like 6 weeks away normally the ship takes about 2 weeks to get here... i trust my friend but he is just getting info from his supplier so i think the supplier sounds a lil dodgy what do you think? also i rang the ports and they tell me that it sounds weird and they they didnt have any ships leaving Kobe ( port where my car is at) on the 25th and no ship leaving there is scheduled to arrive on Nov 1st.. i speak to my friend i think he's getting annoyed with me haslling him all the time but i'm really concerned and it annoys me that my friend doesnt seem all that concerned or maybe i'm just a bit paranoid.. he just says he trust his supplier and hes imported heaps of cars b4 but i just dont want my car to be the first one he gets with a problem. what should i do? i cant find out anymore.. they tell me one thing then i chase it up and the people at the sydney port say there is no ship coming at that date. What do you guys think? 6 weeks is along time to be on a ship.
